BEWARE! I am writing because last year around this time mice had built a nest near my blower motor and I brought it into Thruway Nissan to have it cleaned out I am writing because last year around this time mice had built a nest near my blower motor and I brought it into Thruway Nissan to have it cleaned out, little did I know that it was a few minute fix (less than 10 minutes). They (Thruway Nissan Service) charged me $425.46 and never got everything out, though they told me they had to take the whole dashboard apart (which was not true), so I came back 3 times (which took A LOT of my time and being without a car) because they left stuff in there. AND, they cut the back side of my blower motor cage/compartment for easy access, altering my car, which was not right because they never informed me they were going to do this. I am writing because it happened again this year (the mice built a nest) and I could not afford to bring it back in to have it cleaned out. It took my husband and I less than 10 minutes to clean out and I am wondering what on earth I was charged $425 (and change) for? We took out 5 screws on the glove compartment and stuck the vacuum into the motor blower and vacuumed the nest out. I feel like Thruway Nissan Service Department is VERY dishonest and took advantage of me. $425 for less than 10 minute job!!!! After seeing what little time and effort was required, it just made me sick that I was charged this much. I have been in contact with a friend who is a mechanic down in NC and he told me I was robbed, that any reputable person/car place would never charge that much. I can understand $62.50 (30 minutes labor---3x- 10 minutes labor= 30 minutes) MAYBE for undoing 5 screws and sticking a vacuum hose in and sucking out a nest.....but to charge me $425.46 ($400.00 on labor!!!! Emoji) is unethical and just downright dishonest. On top of that they sprayed a toxic spray in there, which was so potent, I had to drive with the windows down in the middle of winter for a month. And they charged me for changing the cabin filter ($35), which I buy and change myself because you can buy a cabin filter online for $10 and change it in less than 5 minutes. I wrote to Thruway Nissan (the Service Manager & General Manager) and will be updating this review if they do anything to make this right, which at this point, the only thing they can do to make it right is to refund me my money minus a half hour labor ($62.50). So far, they have just ignored my email...but I will update with the outcome. If they don't do anything, I will NEVER be returning there, and will make sure to tell ALL my friends and family (and anyone else who will listen) so they do not get scammed out of their money as well. It shocks me how dishonest some people are! More

Certified??? I don't thinks so I drove almost three hours to buy a Certified Pre-owned Maxima. The pictures of the one-owner car were fantastic. The odometer in the pictures showed I drove almost three hours to buy a Certified Pre-owned Maxima. The pictures of the one-owner car were fantastic. The odometer in the pictures showed 17k, as did the CarFax report. It was Nissan Certified last summer and priced reasonably. When I arrived, the car had 27k on it and did not look like the same car. There was damage to the left rear fender, as well as the front bumper, and a tear in the shifter boot. Every time I put the right turn signal on a warning light flashed saying the proximity sensor was blocked. This is right where the bumper damage is. The bumper is actually pushed out where it meets the fender on the passenger side. The car was in such rough shape that I took a picture of the VIN to compare with the CarFax to make sure it was the same vehicle. It was. I pointed these things out and was informed that the used car manager had driven the car for the last 6 months as a demo. This explained the extra 10k miles and the tires that now have less than 25% tread. The sales manager asked to see the damage that I was talking about. I showed him it and told him about the malfunctioning sensor. He told me the sensors always do that, and the damage was just normal wear and tear. Here is the big problem. They are marketing the car as a Certified pre-owned "one owner" car based upon a certification they did 10,000 miles ago! This car would not meet the certification standards that Nissan has if it were to go through the process now. I only wish I had taken more pictures of the damage. Shady business practice. More

It is now October 23rd and Nissan still has not sent my extended warranty money to the bank so that this loan can be settled!! I cant believe they cant send a lousy 3,000 dollars to the bank! And the worst part is I would have went back and spent another 21,000$ atleast!!!! I will never go there again and I will definitely make sure everyone I know dont go there aswell!!!! More
