Was supposed to do complete service on car we purchased. Oil wasn’t changed, air filter dirty and even the windshield wipers rubber was dangling. I was very happy with the entire process up until the next morning when I decided to run a reverse calculation to figure out what my actual loan amount was based on the numbers for interest rate and term next morning when I decided to run a reverse calculation to figure out what my actual loan amount was based on the numbers for interest rate and term of loan that I remembered. I was shocked to find that my loan amount was $10,000 more than I expected (~$30,000 vs ~$20,000). I attempted to contact the salesperson about this by email and got no answer. Then I did a little research and discovered that the whole company has a history with the BBB of shady deals, so I knew better than to bring it up to the corporate level because they are probably complicit as well. The whole thing was too well orchestrated to be just a local thing. The way it was done required too much practice and coordination. I guess arbitration is in my future. More
