We bought a used car from here a year ago. Perfectly happy made all of our payments on time. Dealership called us last month and said come in we will refinance your car and get you a better interest ra happy made all of our payments on time. We told him information he modified it in his handwriting to make it all look better. Our car payment was due the next day I was going to pay it online. They said don"t pay it give us $400 and we will take care of it. They could only get a slightly lower rate for us but had another bank that was going to call back. We were going to leave and try another time. Sales manager Hubert came in and said keep your $400 let us do this for you even if its only a little lower rate this will be good for your credit. We agreed. Went and sat down with Kameron the finance guy he said great news we got an even lower rate everything is wonderful. Great we started signing papers then he said we need $400. We said but Hubert said and back and forth. It was a good rate we gave him $400. Almost done signing papers and Kameron pushed the wrong button on his computer lost everything saved. He said don't worry i have everything I will redo and get this to you tomorrow. Oh and I need a copy of proof of your income. I went home and sent it to him. The next day he wanted my husbands proof of income and a copy of my divorce papers showing my child support. I sent these immediately. I asked about my car payment and was told don't pay it they would be paying it off. Five days later they call and want proof of hire date from husbands work because the timeline doesn't work because of salesman Eric changing info to look better. We get them a year to date statement from employer. Another week goes by and now we have a late fee due for car payment and they are still working on it. After another week they don't like the statement from employer and want another one. We call and talk to Brian. We are done at this point our good credit messed up and another car payment coming due. Brian said please let me try and fix this give me until tomorrow. We said ok. The next day we wait and wait for a call back finally called to talk to Brian and oh he is not working today we are told. Great. So today out of the blue Kameron sends me a text "still have not heard from bank". I am going to get my $400 and money for my late fee and will never go back to this dealership again. It is too bad this had been the second vehicle from Tom Dolan Auto Group I have purchased and now will tell everyone I know of my bad experience. Just want to say thanks for nothing but the ding on my credit. More
The 3 people that I have dealt with yesterday when I purchased my used Kia Soul were the best people I have ever dealt with when buying a vehicle. David is simply the best sales person ever. The only reason I scored this dealership a 1 is because there is not an option for zero. I visited this dealership and decided on a new Mazda after a test drive and lots of research myself. I left all my information with the salesman and he said he would call me with a price and find the car in the color I wanted. The next day I heard nothing. The following day I left three messages stating I wanted the car, had the money, and would like to make the purchase. Still no return call. I finally called another salesman and he told me my original salesman was too busy. Too busy doing what? I thought the goal for them was to sell cars. Even after that it was like pulling teeth to get anyone to call me back or spend a few minutes with me on the phone without making me feel like a nuisance. I had filled out an online quote request and initially figured all the calls would be a waste of time. I was very wrong. It seems every other dealership was more than willing to discuss the car. I ended up buying the car in Californa from an incredibly professional and friendly dealership that actually made me feel like they wanted my business. The salesman even called me three times on his day off to let me know the status of the car. On top of all this, they beat Reno's price by $700 and extended the manufacturer warranty to 10 years and 100,000 miles. I cannot explain the frustration with Reno's dealership. I guess they are the only one in town so they figure customer service can suck. How pathetic for someone to walk onto their lot wanting to buy a car and being driven to buy it elsewhere. I just wish I would have read these reviews before I went there and would have known what to expect. I would name the salesmen I worked with, but when customer service is this bad it obviously comes from the top down. From all the continueing negative reviews I guess Tom Dolan doesn't waste his time reading these either. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. More
I have been dreading buying a car because of all the bad experiences in the past with high pressured sales people that treat you like you are an idiot. So, I started my search on the internet this time, searching for a car that I would really want and giving me the chance to look at many different types of cars. About 3 months ago, after searching the internet, I was contacted by Kymberly Platt. She kept contact periodically to see if I had found anything yet. I let her know that I was interested in the Kia Soul. About a week ago, Lexi Brecke contacted me to follow up and I finally made an appointment to test drive the Kia Soul. She was so nice! She sent me over to Lexus of Reno to meet with Kymberly. Kymberly drove me over to another Dolan dealership to find the car I wanted. we went to Reno Mazda/Kia dealership. She introduced me to Michael Cochran. He took my sister and I on a test drive and I was sold!!! What a fun car to drive! This was the most wonderful car buying experience that I have ever had. I was driving my new car home about an hour later. Michael was GREAT!!! I received the best customer service from my internet contacts all the way over to my salesman! I would recommend this dealership and Michael Cochran, I recommend Kymberly Platt (Lexus of Reno) and Lexi Brecke at Reno Toyota!!! Best experience of my life while buying a car and the good news...I got exactly what I wanted. I can't say enough about this dealership and these 3 people. I was also very happy with the low car payment!! If you want a good car buying experience with excellent off the chart customer service, go see them! You will be glad you did! More
Went in to buy a car, looking to save a dollar by looking at a used car. We were not told by the sales staff that for the same amount of money for a used car we could afford to by a new car. I was extremely pleased with my car buying experience at Kia, the staff (while persistent) was pleasant and informative. It was cold out, I hadn't eaten all day and so after test driving 3 vehicles, I walk Kia, the staff (while persistent) was pleasant and informative. It was cold out, I hadn't eaten all day and so after test driving 3 vehicles, I walked off the lot while they were running the numbers. Car shopping is stressful as it is but add cold and hunger to the mix..well not a good thing. The staff was understanding (even offered to order food for me while i waited)and smiled even as i was walking away. I assume most people dont come back after they've walked off and I'm not so sure i would have either had I not received a call back from JJ & Erick. I guess persistence does pay off! I went back, bought the car I wanted at the price I wanted thanks to JJ's magic and the persistent & knowledgeable staff at Reno Mazda Kia. Great experience! More

DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE!!!!! I can put up with a lot but after purchasing my brand new car, I needed a ride to drop off my rental car. I needed to stop for gas before dropping off the car because everyone k after purchasing my brand new car, I needed a ride to drop off my rental car. I needed to stop for gas before dropping off the car because everyone knows you cannot return an empty rental. The sales person had a fit and told me he wouldn't allow me to do that! He then proceeded to be incredibly rude. I regretted buying the car from them the moment I drove off the lot. The sales manager called me to apologize and offered me $100.00 towards an accessory. I NEVER GOT THE PROMISED $100.00. Apparently, the sales manager who offered me the money left and they have no record of it. I called back to ask about looking further into their promise. The man who answered the phone sounded very uneducated and trashy. He was so inconsiderate. He put me on hold and didn't even get the manager as I had requested. DO NOT BUY YOUR CAR HERE!!!!! More
