Due your homework before you go there or they will take advantage of you especially with your trade, plan on b or nor would I recommend this dealer. Due your homework before you go there or they will take advantage of you especially with your trade, plan on being there ALL day, was never shown where the service department was or the parts department. Don’t ask for any extra accessories unless you like a good laugh. Your better off finding a different dealer even if you have to drive a little to get there. More
Don't get your car Serviced here!!! Brought it in for Diagnostics because Air Conditioner wasn't working. Told me it was the Shrader Valve. Charged me $344. Then came back out after they put that in and Diagnostics because Air Conditioner wasn't working. Told me it was the Shrader Valve. Charged me $344. Then came back out after they put that in and said it was the compressor. Of course it was the compressor, if you turned the car on, you could hear that it didn't come on. The service guy not mentioning names said well why didn't you tell me that, it would have been nice. Are you kidding me, they are suppose to be the professionals and brought it there to get diagnosed. Then had the nerve to say that whoever looked at the car to see if there was anti freeze, broke the valve. NO THEY DIDN'T. He also told me there was no anti freeze in the car. Also, a lie. The car when put on the meter had enough. So, I was charged 166 dollars because he gave me a discount. Imagine that, gave me a discount for something I never needed. I should of had them take the xxxx valve out and put the old one back in. Well, just so you know, I just got back from another dealer. The whole job cost 460, they gave me a quote of $950. What is the problem at this place. I will never go back. Also, an older lady was sitting in the waiting area there for a certain problem with her car. One of the service guys comes out and tells her that the problem that she came in for was okay, but that she needed over 700 in tires. Well, the poor lady didn't have anyone their with her, and was just forced into saying yes. I told her to tell them that you need to speak to your son first, and not to have it done today. Let your son make that decision with you. Well, thank god she did tell them not to do it. Her tires didn't even need changing yet. They should be ashamed of themselves doing this to people. Stay Away, Stay Far Away. More
I just purchased my 2nd vehicle from Tom Gibbs Chevrolet and am extremely pleased. They are over an hour drive from my place in Orlando where I am surrounded by car dealers, but I would prefer to work with and am extremely pleased. They are over an hour drive from my place in Orlando where I am surrounded by car dealers, but I would prefer to work with the team there, as I know I can count on the quality and service. If you want to work with a team you can trust, a team with complete professionalism, and get a good deal on a car, I highly recommend. More

Advice: warranty-get your diagnostics-take your vehicle home. Warranty parts takes 1day or 2 to confirm. Vehicle held hostage with promises of completion "soon" home. Warranty parts takes 1day or 2 to confirm. Vehicle held hostage with promises of completion "soon" More
I went to Tom Gibbs Chevrolet because the reviews were basically good, treat like family, etc. Doug Miller (sales) was very good to me as was Bryant Beale (finance). I traveled 3 hours drive each way to o basically good, treat like family, etc. Doug Miller (sales) was very good to me as was Bryant Beale (finance). I traveled 3 hours drive each way to obtain a used Corvette and to trade mine-- even though I had received acceptable price offerings locally. It was more convenient to trade even though I received as much as $1,000.00 less. Within a week I was showing my friends who are extremely knowledgeable about Corvettes and discovered that the car had been sold to me without the emergency cable release for the drivers side door. I took the car to the local dealer, hoping to avoid the 3 hour trip each way. They automatically check things like alignment and the car was significantly out of alignment. The front tires were at minimal tread as well. So, back I go to Tom Gibbs Chevrolet. I even got myself a hotel room the night before so that I could get to the dealer as early as possible. I was made to feel like a piece of crap-- the manager, Caleb, ran interference for who I assume was Tom Gibbs, as I heard the person referred to as "Tom". They fixed the missing cable. Regarding the alignment, I was told that absolutely NOTHING further would be done for this car. Tires would not be replaced (which I was going to do anyway as alignment and adequate tread are definitely safety issues) but I was given the option of purchasing them at cost-- they did mount them for me. BUT, I was given a lecture regarding the state of my trade in of a Corvette convertible. Apparently, the roof leaked when it was run through the car wash. I was made to feel that I had deceived them. I, personally, never ran my car through a car wash and very rarely had it out in the rain, and it was always garaged. One dealer in my area actually examined the stitching on the convertible room very closely and declared that it was in very good condition, citing that in Florida, frequently the sun and moisture destroys the convertible roofs. (I did not trade my Corvette with any of my local dealers because they did not have a Corvette that I wanted). And, was told by Caleb that they felt that they paid more for the car than they should have. Next, when I was told my car was ready, I told the service person taking me to my car to wait a moment as I needed to pay for the tires. The service rep at his desk told me that I was free to go. When I questioned that, he said to hang on, he called someone to confirm and was told that he was to send me on my way. Then, I get a call the next morning telling me that I "slipped out" without paying for my tires!!! I called them back and IMMEDIATELY provided them with my charge card number. So, I left there at the end of the day, feeling very poorly, and then, to have my experience with this dealership go even further downhill the next day. Would I go back? Not likely, save for Doug, Bryant, and then Scott, who helps around the building to care for it, who stopped by to visit with me during my 6-plus hours at the dealership. Scott was so friendly and nice, a wonderful respite from how I was made to feel. More
I made an appointment to have the radiator and transmission fluid flushed and changed in my Corvette. I dropped off the car early in the morning and was told they would call me when it was ready. transmission fluid flushed and changed in my Corvette. I dropped off the car early in the morning and was told they would call me when it was ready. Since I never received a call from them I called about 15 minutes before closing and was told my car was in the garage but they hadn’t started work on it. This was after having made an appointment for a specific day two weeks prior. I had to leave my special car with them overnight for simple preventative maintenance. The service writer assured me that he would personally follow up on having my car ready early the next day. Again I had no call the next day and so by the afternoon I decided to call and my service writer for the status on my car. I was told that he was on vacation that day and after several phone transfers to other people I was told the mechanic was just finishing up and my car would be ready in an hour. I was satisfied with the work done but not with the whole run around after having made an appointment two weeks prior. More
Don’t buy here. They missed that the vehicle the sold me had an aftermarket exhaust that wasn’t listed in the service history. They won’t put it back to factory. They also don’t want cash. They want you to had an aftermarket exhaust that wasn’t listed in the service history. They won’t put it back to factory. They also don’t want cash. They want you to finance so they make more money. Take your money somewhere else and don’t bother with this joke of a facility. More
