Tom Masano Mercedes Benz is a reputable dealership that strives to provide a quality product and service. It is my understanding that your car developed a coolant leak 18 days after you took delivery. Yes we do provide a 90 day 1000 mile warranty at no charge to our clients. This coverage is a limited warranty on the engine, transmission and drive line. The coverage is limited to internal lubricated parts and the "rear coolant flange" was not a covered item. Had it been the head gasket as we had thought at first it would have been covered. Even though your repair was not covered by the limited 90 day warranty, Tom Masano Mercedes Benz did in fact stand behind the 10 year old used Audi you purchased and did in fact reimbures you for $700 of the total $1069 repair even though we were not liable or responsible for a non covered repair. We feel that Tom Masano Mercedes Benz has gon above an beyond any responsability of a non covered item.

You and your dealership clearly give all used car dealers a bad name. Your salesman said you would stand behind your product and you chose not to. I'm very very sorry we did not go online to find out how bad your reputation is. I will continue to ensure others don't make the same horrible mistake we did. I will find the other websites that are similar to this one and make sure customers know the type of person you are.

If you are still dissatisfied with your purchase from Tom Masano Mercedes Benz we are willing to repurchase the 2002 Audi from you for the full sale price of $11596 that you paid for the car five months ago. This repurchase price will be subject to a deduction of 55 cents per mile from the delivery mileage of 47,618 miles, and a physical appraisal to make sure there is no body damage. We will also be willing to trade you out of the car under the same scenario. Please let us know how you would like to proceed.
