Bought a used car on 3/18 and was told there was No Issues on inspection. Drove it for a week and discovered Fuel Gauge is broke, both headlights went out, Evap needs replaced, front brake and rotors n Issues on inspection. Drove it for a week and discovered Fuel Gauge is broke, both headlights went out, Evap needs replaced, front brake and rotors need replaced and the Catalytic Converter needs replaced. I have a hard time believing that the inspection did not show any of these issues. Do not buy used form Tom Wood Honda More
My Pilot wouldn’t start one morning. Honda roadside service would not let me have my car towed to Victory Honda, Muncie, where I requested. It had to go to Tom Wood Honda, Anderson. Yet Honda roadside service would not let me have my car towed to Victory Honda, Muncie, where I requested. It had to go to Tom Wood Honda, Anderson. Yet the tow service came from Muncie, drove to New Castle to get my car, took it to Anderson, then went back to Muncie! After 24 hours of no communication my husband went to Tom Wood. They had no idea who the car belonged to or why it was there. They did not have a loaner car so we had to rent a car for me to get to work. 2 days later I called them for an update. The mechanic didn’t know the problem yet but would be working Saturday to finish it. I called on Saturday and discovered the mechanic wasn’t working and no one else could work on it. Late Monday afternoon I was told I could finally get my car. Turns out the car just needed to be jumped. Tom Wood had my car for 7 days, I paid $300 for a rental to find out it just needed to be jumped!! I was so disappointed in that customer service! It seems Tom Wood knew it was warranty work and could have cared less in true customer service. More
Poor communication about status of our vehicle. Was scheduled for 8am and didn’t get completed until 4:30pm, just a normal oil change and tire rotation. The service tech that was supposed to take care of it quit that day and the other tech knew my keys were on his desk and not even entered in the system to be serviced. He told me this after I called at 3pm to find out why no one called around noon when we were supposed to have it back. This is not the first time communicating has been terrible. I will not return any longer, I’ll drive all the way to Richmond Indiana where I bought it instead, they are terrific there! More
Thanks for a great vehicle! Logan was great to work with. He was quick to respond to emails and made us feel comfortable and confident in our purchase. Logan was great to work with. He was quick to respond to emails and made us feel comfortable and confident in our purchase. More
We purchased a used vehicle from Tom Wood Honda on Friday February the 18, 2022 they replaced the windshield wipers and washed the vehicle and when we picked up the next day the salesperson told us that the February the 18, 2022 they replaced the windshield wipers and washed the vehicle and when we picked up the next day the salesperson told us that the bolts where you put your license plate were broken off he told us to put our plates in the window made no effort to repair but they have a body shop and mechanics go figure, so after we got it home we noticed 3 tires were good and the fourth one was bad the low tire light stayed on but he assured us that they checked it so we decided to put new tires on so they would all be the same so when we took it to put on new tires we found out the struts were bad all four tpms-ez sensors were all bad that is why the light would not go off the back brakes and rotors were fried and one caliper defective and two sway bar link on both sides were bad bad wiper blade on the back and the oil had to be changed because it was way over full mark also had to repack the rotor bearings we paid 6400.00 for the vehicle and realize when you a used car that things can come up but seriously 3500.00 dollars later alot of the things that were wrong could caused us to have a serious accident and I realize that they want to sell cars but come on really do you not inspect your vehicles at all or do you just not care what happened to honesty and integrity. So we definitely Will never do business with Tom Wood Honda again and hopefully other people will see this and think twice, it is just sad that this is the way people get treated if we had purchased a brand new vehicle it probably would have mattered a little bit more shame on people who are only out to make a sale. Our salesperson was Alex and he was very pleasant but that's the only good thing I have to say. Beware buyers. We purchased the 2010 Toyota Zion. More
