I purchased a 2020 Chevy Tahoe for $38,000 from Tonkin Chevrolet, and from the very beginning, it had a serious issue—it would not hold air in the tires due to the chrome rims. Once I identified the problem, I brought it back immediately because this is a major safety concern. I was told the issue had been fixed. However, after being out of the country for two months, I returned to find two flat tires again—clearly, the problem was never properly resolved. The dealership then offered to buy the vehicle back for $33,500. I did not feel this was a fair price given what I originally paid, but I didn’t have the time to continue dealing with the situation and felt stuck accepting it. What’s even more concerning is that the same vehicle is now listed for $40,000 with the same rims that caused the issue in the first place. Selling a vehicle that cannot reliably hold air in its tires raises serious safety and legal concerns. This experience felt careless when it comes to customer safety and resolution. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More
