I purchased a 2024 Grand Cherokee 4xe in August 2024 and after 18 months, 10,000 miles, multiple fire-risk recalls, and a dozen service visits, I was done with the car and traded it in for a different brand after 18 months, 10,000 miles, multiple fire-risk recalls, and a dozen service visits, I was done with the car and traded it in for a different brand. Every service visit required Tonkin CJDR to have my car for multiple days, and only two of the visits I was provided a loaner vehicle. When I purchased the vehicle I opted for an extended Mopar warranty and requested it to be canceled and refunded on March 7, 2026. Paul helped me with the paperwork and submitted it the same day. After 6 weeks of no refund I reached out to Paul again asking about the status, he stated that he didn't have the cancelation form that I signed in his office and asked me to send it to him again. The form was filled out a second time and Paul submitted it on May 15th. Fast forward another 6 weeks (June 27th) with no refund, I reached out again and was told Mopar will send me the check directly and "At this point we have no more control over the process". Today, August 20th, I called Mopar directly and they stated they had no warranty cancelation and refund request from Tonkin CJDR. The dealership seems great when purchasing a vehicle, but fails every time in after-sales support. I will never purchase another vehicle from a Tonkin dealership. More
