To clarify, while our team may have assisted in contacting an insurance provider at the time of purchase so the transaction could be completed after hours, insurance policies are issued and managed directly by the carrier. Coverage selections, including whether a policy meets full coverage and lender requirements, are reviewed with the customer and remain the responsibility of the policyholder. This was explained during the purchase process and again when the matter was later discussed. We did not provide false information in any communication, including our response to the BBB, and our statements were based on the documentation available to us.
