The wait wasn't even a half hour. In March of 2024, I purchased a used vehicle from Tony Serra Nissan of Cullman. At the time, I believed the transaction had gone well. I worked with a salesperson named Jeremy Cooper, who also assisted in Serra Nissan of Cullman. At the time, I believed the transaction had gone well. I worked with a salesperson named Jeremy Cooper, who also assisted in setting up my insurance before I could leave the lot. Because the purchase occurred after normal business hours, I was told that insurance needed to be arranged on the spot. Jeremy set up a policy for me through Root Insurance and told both myself and the lender that the policy included full coverage. Based on that representation, I proceeded with the purchase. In August of 2025, after being involved in a serious accident, I learned that this information was false. I had not been placed on a full coverage policy as promised. Instead, I had been paying for minimum coverage only since the policy was first issued. This left me personally responsible for over $22,000 in losses. When I brought this to the dealership’s attention, I was told that they did not care and that it was “ultimately my fault,” despite documentation showing that their representative had arranged the insurance. I then attempted to resolve the issue through the Better Business Bureau. In their response to the BBB, the dealership made additional false statements, including claiming that I had declined GAP coverage, which is not true, and again stated that the situation was not their responsibility. This experience has been financially and emotionally devastating. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Tony Serra Nissan of Cullman to anyone. I will not do business with them again, and I strongly encourage prospective buyers to independently verify all insurance and coverage details rather than relying on representations made by this dealership. I learned my lesson the hard way. Always verify your coverages and documentation regardless of whether or not you believe someone to be acting in good faith. More
