I had a wonderful experience last Friday while coming in to get my car fixed from the most recent recall. Ubaldo went above and beyond to get me in and out quickly. This service department is not only inept but worse than that dishonest to the extreme. They had my car (2015 Genesis) for 24 days., I had it towed in for some dashboard lights and for a recall. The recall that dishonest to the extreme. They had my car (2015 Genesis) for 24 days., I had it towed in for some dashboard lights and for a recall. The recall was a replacement of 2 fuses. Then they complied with a service bulletin. Then they requested an authorization for troubleshooting the dash lights to a tune of $420.00 despite of the fact that the car was under extended (platinum) warranty. I authorized them and they told me that there was rodent intrusion to thee center console. After 24 days in the shop they did not diagnose the problem telling me it was "complicated"..... I decided to take the car away from them "As is".... (in fairness, they did not charge me the $420)I just did not trust them as they were as evasive as can be. Ignored my calls and voicemail. I then made an appointment with Lynnes Hyundai, they asked me to authorize troubleshooting for $210. They diagnosed the problem within minutes, ordered the part, installed and calibrated it, in less than 3 hours. The car is fixed. Do not go to Towne Hyundai if you value your car and your money. This place is a complete sham. More

I called to discuss with service and they insisted they didn't do anything. They kept saying my car might be dirty. They washed it after the service. Not possible. They told me for $137 I could come in for a diagnosis. Why should I pay for them to diagnose? It was working fine until their service department worked on my car. I followed up with an email to customer service. Never got a response. I will be going elsewhere. Ive spent a lot of money here. I expect better. Terrible customer service! More

I have had 5 blow outs with my front tires in 2.5 months, with no explanation from the service department. The low tire pressure light consistently goes on and there is a vibration in my wheels. I have replaced the tires and front wheels and the vibration and warning light continues to be on. I'm concerned with safety. The service department had scheduled an appointment with a loaner car to help me and when they read my google review they cancelled my appointment and loaner. I have spoken to Bob the sales manager and Carlos and last week after several weeks of ignoring my calls, I received a call from Edward, another manager, promising to help me with the situation. He offered to come and pick up my car on Friday, as not to interfere with my work. The night before I received a call saying he couldn't do it because of the holiday weekend and here we are a week later and I never heard from him again. I have called 3 times asking for a call back. So basically once there is an issue , it seems no one can solve it. I have a service contract , yet I have to have my car serviced elsewhere. It sounds crazy doesn't it.??? Don't get the service contract !!!! They promise loaners and there aren't any and they are always rushed and not properly evaluating my vehicle. I've sat for hours at the service center for absolutely nothing. One more FYI.... When you buy a vehicle from Towne Hyundai and they promise you a year of free oil changes......IT MEANS 3 AND THERE ARE LIMITS ON THE MILEAGE!!! I don't even know what they are since none of my paperwork mentions these limitations. I'm a pretty easy person to work with and have received no solution to my issues. I have never received such poor service in my life!!! More
Polite but Poor Customer Service (Service/Parts) First off, I would like to start this review off by stressing how polite Lynn was. Unfortunately, sometimes politeness does not necessarily translate First off, I would like to start this review off by stressing how polite Lynn was. Unfortunately, sometimes politeness does not necessarily translate as quality service. I went into Towne Service on Thursday, April 4th with some electrical issues on my Genesis that were thought to be tied to a fuse or relay switch. I was informed that I was going to have to pay $141 diagnostic fee (standard) and leave my car for the day. I informed the team that though I worked in the area, I lived almost 40 miles away. I asked if they could provide a courtesy car. I was told that they did not have one at the time and offered a shuttle to my job. At the end of the day, I was informed that they were unable to diagnose the problem and I would be still charged the diagnosis fee. Towne told me I would need to return the faulty car 4 days later on Monday, April 8th because of schedule/availability. Towne explained the repair could take 1-2 days. So naturally, I asked again for a courtesy vehicle. I was told that they did not have anything for Monday. I had no choice but to rent a vehicle for Monday and Tuesday. Each day at the end of the day, I had to be proactive and call Towne for a status on my vehicle. Monday turned into Tuesday, Tuesday into Wednesday, and Wednesday into Thursday. Each evening around 4:00pm I would call for update and ask for a courtesy vehicle. Each day I was met with long hold times and requests to call me back which took about an hour. Each day I was told there weren’t any available courtesy cars. Most importantly, no answer as to what was wrong with my car. Finally, on Saturday late afternoon, April 13th I recevied news that my car was fixed. 7 full days Towne had my car and $800 later, I asked if I could be reimbursed for my rental car fees. I was gain told no. Brand recognition is powerful. This is my first Hyundai. This is also my first encounter with repairs at the dealer. I am skeptical of ever purchasing a Hyundai again. The support doesn’t seem to be there when things go wrong. More
