I strongly advise against buying from Toyota of Chula Vista. The salesperson lied to me from the start, selling me a defective car and providing no real warranty, which is unheard of. They try to convinc Vista. The salesperson lied to me from the start, selling me a defective car and providing no real warranty, which is unheard of. They try to convince customers by saying their warranty covers everything, making you trust the paperwork. But once a problem arises, you realize that the warranty is just a piece of paper that covers very little, while they’ve already taken your money. Only two days after purchasing the car, it had issues, and when I brought it back, they refused to cover it under warranty. The lies and shady tactics from the staff were unbelievable. The management, including Sebastian, was no better, refusing to take responsibility for their mistakes. I planned to pay out of pocket for repairs, and even though the initial estimate was $2,500, the cost ended up being over $3,200. They told me it would take two days, but they held my car for more than two weeks, giving me excuse after excuse. The service advisor Kevin Laguna was just as bad, completely untrustworthy. These people are scammers, and I wouldn't trust them with a toy, let alone a car. Stay away from this dealership if you don’t want to be deceived and ripped off. More
