Nice service. The lounge was comfortable while I was getting my oil changed. The express reps were helpful and well informed. Very Weak Mercedes Service Johnny (the technician) failed to diagnose check engine light due (I was told) to lack of expertise, failed to complete service requested (fuel filter Johnny (the technician) failed to diagnose check engine light due (I was told) to lack of expertise, failed to complete service requested (fuel filter, auxiliary battery, etc.) due to lack of parts, This despite scheduling the requested service a week in advance. The service adviser (Angelina) suggested, "I should get that (the check engine light) diagnosed." I responded, "So you're suggesting I take this to a Mercedes Dealer?" For a resident of San Juan Island who needs to essentially commit an entire day to dropping off a car and another day for retrieving the car from a dealer, this was a very disappointing level of service; for all intents and purposes, it's just as easy to drive to Seattle and visit larger, better equipped dealers in Seattle, Bellevue or even Lynnwood...or for that matter use a good independent in the Bellingham area, such as Fairchild European Auto. Based on this first experience I will avoid this dealer. More
