Broke my windshield while in for service Last week I took my Airstream motor home for a recall to be fixed and for a scheduled service maintenance to be preformed. I have made numerous attempts to speak to the head of service department. I noticed the damage within 5 minutes of leaving their parking lot and immediately called and was put on hold for 40 minutes. I have yet to actually speak to Joe the service manager, instead have received an email five days after the fact stating they were not taking responsibility for the damage. He stated that his technician said the damage could not be “seen” from inside the motor home, only from outside. Interesting that he would make that comment, because if it was not done there, why would a technician be inside my motor home checking that!! No work needed to be done inside my motor home! I’m contacting Mercedes Benz corporate, the Washington Attorney General on the matter. So unprofessional. Further evidence of guilt is the fact that they won’t return my calls, but a one paragraph email, five days later. If you have nothing to hide, why avoid the customer? More
