Lexus GS300 transmission flush service failed When I made the appointment by phone with the service advisor named Trevor, I was told the transmission flush service can be done by Toyota Bellingham When I made the appointment by phone with the service advisor named Trevor, I was told the transmission flush service can be done by Toyota Bellingham. When I asked Trevor if he is 100% positive that it would be a flush transmission service, which he answered in affirmative. I further asked that it would entail 12 to 13 quarts of oil to be added, which he did know for sure. On the day of the appointment at the shop, I was told by Trevor and the technician that the flush service cannot be done. A drain and fill service was offered, instead, for a higher cost at 2.5 hours labor service plus parts cost, which I declined. I am aware that my car has a "sealed transmission" and has a lifetime transmission gear oil in it as claimed by Lexus. However, I am on the belief that no gear oil will last for a lifetime. Hence, my appointment for the above service. Be that as it may, Toyota Bellingham service advisors should be trained thoroughly on the service options for Lexus cars to avoid this incident from happening again. Would I recommend your service center? Based on this experience, no I do not recommend your service center to Lexus car owners. More

Inside of car smelled like gas/oil Everything about my service was fine except one thing. The inside of my car smelled like gas and oil. When I got home, I washed the floor mats and w Everything about my service was fine except one thing. The inside of my car smelled like gas and oil. When I got home, I washed the floor mats and wiped down the seats, which got rid of the smell. I understand mechanics deal with petrol products all day but please use those interior paper liners when sitting in the car. Thanks. More
Good Service Overall the service was satisfactory. A routine oil change and everything was done on time. A few things that could have been done better: - Ther Overall the service was satisfactory. A routine oil change and everything was done on time. A few things that could have been done better: - There are 4 heated bays. At other dealers they open the garage door for you upon arrival and help you park inside. The morning I showed up, I had to park outside in line up of 4 other cars, much like I would at Jiffy Lube. I had an appointment for a service, not an "express" oil change, so I didn't expect to be put in a lineup. - At pick up, I was given my keys back and told where I could find my car. Again, at other dealers they bring the car to you, review that everything is clean and satisfactory. There were no other customers there at the time so availability wasn't an issue. - When I got in my car, there was a cabin filter on my passenger seat still in its package. They did explain to me that they changed out the filter, but I have no idea why this filter is on my seat. Is it the old filter? (why would I want it?) Or, is it the new filter that they didn't change? A simple explanation of why I may need it would have been helpful. Again, everything was done as expected. Nice people. But I didn't feel like it was a better experience than what I would get at a local (cheaper) oil change shop. More
5 point check up Light on dash for maintenance check up came on ....took it in for FREE 5 point check up. Maintenance man wanted $150+ to start the work. I said “5 point check up is free” he said yes but could need work. I said can’t you call to tell me first what is wrong. He said yes but your car will be taken out of line to do that and then you’ll have wait your turn again. I said I’ll take my chances and want to know first what could be wrong if anything at all! Could just need brake fluid or engine oil which they would add as needed. He said fine. When they finished I was told they topped off fluids and warning ?? sign was off. As I’m driving home light/sign came back on. Husband checked under hood to find the brake fluid reservoir had a hole in it and no fluid!! My husband ended up fixing it! Go figure how I feel about that! More
