I thank you for responding. I don’t know that there is a remedy to be had. It was simply a disappointing experience. I am unlikely to return to the Toyota service center in Bellingham if I can find other places to service my Prius. Adding to my negative experience: my oil was not changed as I requested when I initially scheduled. Dimitri pointed out I had not asked him. why did it matter, when I’d already asked for it? this car had always been serviced at this location. the change oil light was on, window sticker showed it was due. They had the vehicle for three weeks. And I had requested it. Lastly the car was returned without the rodent urine cleaned and still with feces in it. it it was clear someone had taken a vacuum to the loose bits but made no effort to clean further. Areas which were chewed but not damaged enough to replaced were left as they were instead of the courtesy of re-taping. This is not my idea of good service.

I am sorry to hear that your speed control is still not working. The technician indicated that he was able to set it after he had completed the repairs to the batteries and reset the codes.
