Toyota Mercedes-Benz Sprinter of Bellingham responded

I was able to find the history on your seat concern. We originally put a seat frame in the vehicle in an attempt to resolve the issue. If I understand correctly this repair was only temporary. The seat noise(movement) returned. On the next visit the technician contacted Toyota technical assistance and was assigned a case number. The response from Toyota is that this is a normal characteristic of the vehicle. Any further attempt to repair would not be paid for under the warranty. I wish that we had a solution for this but we do not. Sometimes we are stuck between what we would like to do and what we can do. This, unfortunately, is one of those times. Please accept my apologies for our failure to communicate this clearly to you when you had the vehicle here for service.
