The Santa Monica dealer ship is a great one when it comes to the service department, but the sales manager Guillermo Galicia , who goes by ARNOD, is the worst nightmare. He lies and tells tells. He promised to the service department, but the sales manager Guillermo Galicia , who goes by ARNOD, is the worst nightmare. He lies and tells tells. He promised to swap my car, because they are some problems with it. He told me that Toyota has a special car warehouse with all the new cars in the Car warehouse name is “Marina”. He is not to be trusted. When I had an appointment with him, he sent me home, because he was too busy. This person gives Toyota a bad name. More
I bought a use 2012 Scion xB from here on 04/10. They gave me the keys and there were two keys without the flob and what looked like house keys. When I got home I found that the gas cap had a lock w They gave me the keys and there were two keys without the flob and what looked like house keys. When I got home I found that the gas cap had a lock which they never told me about. The tires were also over inflated at ~50 psi and when I lowered the pressure to 35 psi the check tire light has been on since. I also found that the key hole on the door was never rekeyed so I had to get it replaced. I also got the Golden State Warranty by Protective and canceled it on 4/14 as I had time to reread what it entailed. I canceled it in person and the finance lady, Dani, didn't want to give me the physical cancelation paperwork and only let me take a picture of it. Two weeks later I was given no update so I called both numbers on Dani's business card called them 17 times in 5 days; each time I left a voicemail. Finally she answered and was reluctant to give me an answer then she finally emailed me the cancelation form. She also told me that Protective would issue the refund. Over a month later I call Protective and they said that it was on the dealership to issue the refund. More

I would like to extend my highest praise 10 stars to Toyota of Santa Monica, particularly to Arnold Funes, the Internet Sales Manager. After conducting some research last night, I became interested in l Toyota of Santa Monica, particularly to Arnold Funes, the Internet Sales Manager. After conducting some research last night, I became interested in leasing a brand new Toyota Prius XLE. I submitted an inquiry through an automated system that notifies all Toyota dealers, and by morning, Arnold was the first to reach out to me. At 11 a.m. sharp, Arnold was ready to discuss the details. He texted me, saying, "It's Arnold from Toyota Santa Monica. We can do $3,000 down and $380 per month. That's the best offer I can provide for you." A few hours later, I was inundated with calls from various Toyota dealers across Southern California, each employing the same sales tactics. However, none of them came close to matching Arnold's offer. Even after I shared the details of Arnold's proposal, many dealers expressed skepticism and joked that I might be getting played. Ultimately, the deal went through, and I ended up with an even better offer. This dealership is genuinely committed to their customers, and Arnold's dedication and work ethic certainly deserve recognition and a raise. I wholeheartedly recommend Toyota of Santa Monica to anyone serious about leasing a new vehicle. If you're in the market, this is the place to go. More
I bought a 2022 Toyota Mirai and called to see if there was any service still remaining. The person I spoke with said yes, and I drove all the way from San Pedro to have it completed. When I got there th was any service still remaining. The person I spoke with said yes, and I drove all the way from San Pedro to have it completed. When I got there they said that they are sorry but there is nothing left. They told me that they would give me the cabin filter which costs about 10 for free but I would have to pay almost $400 for the service. The service manager Khalid didn't do anything to try and help fix the complete waste of time that his advisor caused me. Thanks for nothing. More
I was interested in buying a used car. I talked to the sales rep and asked if the car was available. He said yes. I said I would be there at 1:30pm. He said OK. I drove 40 miles. When I go I talked to the sales rep and asked if the car was available. He said yes. I said I would be there at 1:30pm. He said OK. I drove 40 miles. When I got there they were in the process of selling the car to someone else. I was told they don’t hold used cars. You don’t treat customers like that. No apology, no we’re really sorry. Terrible experience. More
I have bought and leased more than ten cars over the years for me and my family. I have never seen unprofessional staff like the ones at this dealership. They try to be very nice when you are trying to years for me and my family. I have never seen unprofessional staff like the ones at this dealership. They try to be very nice when you are trying to buy but the minute you sign and leave it's a whole different staff. I bought two cars for my kids going to college. One car had only one set of keys. They promised me to order the second set and would be coming within a month. It has been one and a half years, and I am still waiting. I called them so many times and every time I call to inquire, they always promise to investigate it and get back to me. Never happened, No one ever took the time to give me an answer. No manager ever took the time to follow up. I had to call Toyota Corporate office to try to get a solution. Hopefully, Toyota will get this done right. Don't make this mistake and get fooled with them being nice when you go to buy. I would go to any other dealership. More
Horrible dealership. They are nothing more than scammers. Bought a car from them that when I first saw, didn’t have floor mats or a second key. Before I signed the paperw They are nothing more than scammers. Bought a car from them that when I first saw, didn’t have floor mats or a second key. Before I signed the paperwork, they assured me the car had both and they would give it to me. After I paid for the car, they said they wouldn’t give me either. Stay far away. These guys will scam you and lie to get you to overpay for their cars. More
