Impressed by Salesman George Roebuck My husband and I visited this dealership for the first time and was approached by George Roebuck. We explained what price range we could handle and indicated that the car was to be for a college student who would be making 3 hour trips each way when coming and going to school. We test drove 4 or 5 cars . His shared that he had past experience as a mechanic. We asked a lot of questions and George answered them confidently and if he did not have the answer he searched out the answer. He never rushed us or became restless even though he had no indication that we liked or didn't like any of the vehicles. George did such a good job that we actually were torn between 2 vehicles and decided to stretch the budget and negotiate for both (as we currently have 2 cars and 4 drivers). George unfortunately was not a part of the negotiations and we ever came to a meeting of the minds where the price should be. We even negotiated for just one of the vehicles that had a Kelly Blue Book DEALER range of $5578- $6395 using the VERY GOOD CONDITION category even though we have no idea what costs we may incur after driving off the lot with NO warranties included. We finally agreed upon $6800 which was to include everything but our taxes and registration understanding that taxes and registration are required by law. Although it was $400 over even the highest KBB value we agreed but at the last minute when the paperwork was to be signed we saw an additional $395 and $198 in what we consider additional overcharge fees being added in although $6800 was the agreed final number. $400 over KBB highest value we could deal with but not $1000. The gentleman that was doing the negotiations never disclosed these fees and would not adjust the numbers to reflect the $6800 we had agreed to, so we left without any car purchase. George Roebuck did a wonderful job as a salesman as we were interested in not only one but two vehicles and for that reason I feel compelled to write him very positive review. Mr. Roebuck is an outstanding asset to this organization. Please note, I could not submit this review without answering whether I would recommend this dealership or not. I had planned to not indicate. I answered yes but be an educated buyer when negotiating and read before you sign! More

I would NOT recommend this dealership to my WORST enemy!!!!! This is the worst Toyota dealership I have ever been to, by far! Over the past 6-months I have visited several Toyota dealerships looking for someone to help my fiance out of the nightmare we have been living for the past two years. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done so we are stuck with a leased vehicle paying nearly $400 a month when according to another Toyota dealership we should have paid no more than $200 for. My advice to anyone doing business with Toyota Universe is take your contract home to read and reread!! And if necessary take your contract to a lawyer, because I can guarantee they will try and rip you off!!! More

I came into Toyota Universe looking for a used car, and had been for about a month and a half and went to several dealerships. I already knew what I wanted and had the pleasure of dealing with a new sales had been for about a month and a half and went to several dealerships. I already knew what I wanted and had the pleasure of dealing with a new sales agent Berkeley Chlopak. I explained to her that I was looking for a used toyota or car with one owner, low mileage, low payment, and no accidents. She took myself, my son, and my daughter in law around showing us a few cars which then we narrowed it down to one after about 2 hours of time. We test drove the one car, and then were still a little high after talking numbers on the one car (a 09 Corolla). Then we transitioned to 2010 corolla and were able to work the numbers to my liking with a little more money down. Berkeley and her managers Felipe and Marlon were so helpful with this experience because I had so many negative experiences in the prior months search. They spent about five hours with me getting everything to my wants and needs exactly where I wanted to be, and suprisingly for her second deal ever as a car saleswomen. She was truly exceptional. More

My salesman was above and beyond which made for an easy buy. We worked on numbers back and forth for a while with the finance department until we were all satisfied with a deal. My new (used) car is great. It was clean and ready to roll in no time. Giuseppe followed up with a courtesy phone call, which prompted me to write this review. I don't remember ever receiving a courtesy call after purchasing a used car. I thought that was very nice. I will recommend TOYOTA UNIVERSE and their sales and service team to other members of my community. More
