Everybody knows that the process of purchasing a vehicle is rarely a pleasant one; dampened by long waits, back and forth negotiations, and lengthy filing of paperwork and signing. I can assure you that we left quickly, and most importantly - happy. My new Corolla is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I couldn't be more thankful for everyone's patience and attention. Again, Allen was such a pleasure and was so diligent in making sure I was taken care of. He's checked on me multiple times since my visit and continues to support me with any questions and concerns that I have. I had a 2010 Camry, loved it but the lease was expiring on December 20th. I went to Toyota Universe in Little Falls to see if I can get into another Toyota lease. My Salesperson was great and after spendin on December 20th. I went to Toyota Universe in Little Falls to see if I can get into another Toyota lease. My Salesperson was great and after spending the entire day at the dealership, a deal was made. I decided to lease a 2013 Toyota Corolla with $500 down, $210/month for 39 months. They took my Camry and "grounded" it for Toyota. I drove home with my new 2013 Corolla happy with my deal. Couple days later, I received a call from the dealership begging me to return to sign "some extra paper work". They said in order for me to get my plates I need to go in and sign "extra paper work". After work, I returned to the dealership, met with Ali (so called Manager) and was presented with the bad news. They wanted change the $210/month to $246/month, i refused because i had a legal signed document. They took the Corolla back and rescind the lease contract I signed. The excuse - "we are loosing $500 on the deal". Ali stated if i refused to return the car, there will be no registration or plates issued. I don't understand why these people approved a lease, have me drive off with the car and few days later call to rescind the lease contract. I was furious and Ali did nothing to try to help me keep the car. Instead they drove the Camry to the front to told me to take the Camry back. i SOPKE WITH A LAWYER, what i described to him is something called "yo-yo sales" or "yo-yo scam". My lawyer says its very popular with struggling dealership. "This can result in what the center calls a “yo-yo scam,” where the salesperson “pulls the consumer back to the dealer, like a yo-yo on a string.” The buyer is typically told the financing “fell through,” and is then pressured to sign a new contract with financing terms that are less favorable — like a higher interest rate or a larger required down payment." - Google PS i have all the leave documents as proof More
