This Is Fraud at Its Highest Level This Is Fraud at Its Highest Level I saw a Toyota Rav4 on CarGurus.com listed from Toyota Universe in Little Falls, NJ at a good price. They This Is Fraud at Its Highest Level I saw a Toyota Rav4 on CarGurus.com listed from Toyota Universe in Little Falls, NJ at a good price. They had lots of pictures of the car on the site, and everything looked good. I called the agency, and spoke to a manager. He said the car was in great shape, no hits, and sent me the car fax. I looked at the Carfax, and there was absolutely no damage, incidents, repairs, or any listing of problems with the car. The agency was 1 hour away, but I was interested in the car, so I drove the hour to see the vehicle, and if good, purchase the car. I saw Rudy, one of the sales managers, who said he had the car, and it was ready to sell. He had one of his sales associates handle the sale. The sales associates took all my information, which took about 1 hour. I still had not seen the car. Finally, they brought the car around, and I went outside to test drive the car. The car had been sideswiped, and the entire passenger side of the car was damaged. No one told me the car had been hit. There were no pictures of the damage on any of the car websites. There was no listing of the damage on the car fax. They did absolutely everything to hide this information from me and the other consumers. This is what you call fraud, and it is illegal. The damage to the car not being listed on the Carfax is illegal. They even still tried to sell me the car. They stated that the reason the car was selling so cheap was because of the damage. They knew about the damage, and hid it from everyone. That is fraud. I will be reporting them to the NJ Attorney General tomorrow. All the pictures in Cargurus and other sides are pictures of the good side. I have already contacted NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. They will advise me who else to contact. To my followers: This is one of those dishonest car dealerships that you have heard about for many years. Stay away!" More
