From the moment Dean met me at the door and throughout the process, this was the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership; and I have been buying cars for nearly 50 years! I met Dean for the first time explaining my criteria, my time frame due to end of year taxes and that I would be shopping around to all the dealerships. I didn't want to negotiate with multiple levels and be pressured in any way. Dean listened very carefully, immediately found someone to test drive my trade-in and returned with his proposal for new car and trade-in value. I continued to search the other dealers experiencing multiple levels of discussions with people and it became clear to me that Dean Mahalati was my #1 choice. I called Dean to ask about the dealership and service department. Dean was very positive and thorough about Toyota West. I decided exactly what I wanted and Dean went to work throughout a 4-6 state area for my vehicle of my choice. Dean called me and gave me options and I made the decision on the phone to proceed with the order. Dean exceeded my expectations throughout the process with pricing, updates about the order, rearranging his personal plans for me. My wife could not be a part of the discussions because she was traveling out of state with family health issues. Dean was vaguely aware of these issues and yet he was very cordial and gracious with my wife and I when we came in to pick up the Avalon. This was the very first time he met my wife. I introduced them and he immediately asked about the family issues. Dean is personable, a professional, a great representative for Toyota, and one that I will recommend to everyone! He answered questions and was very easy to work with. I knew that I needed to purchase a car soon due to having to junk my old car, but Robert never pressured or pushed me into making a decision. I have bought 3 new vehicles in the past 4 years. Dealing with over 20 car dealerships. Dean Mahalati was by far the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. Just before Dean sold this truck to me i was dea with over 20 car dealerships. Dean Mahalati was by far the best car salesman I have ever dealt with. They completely turned around what was a pathetic experience with Prestige Toyota Will Gillis and the folks at Toyota West saved the day for me. They completely turned around what was a pathetic experience with Prestige Toyota here in my home state of New Jersey. I had ordered a Tacoma pickup here in NJ and was told it would take 4-6wks. After taking my deposit there was no communication with me until I inquired and found out 4-6wks would now be 17 weeks or more. I cancelled my order and did a last ditch search on the internet. I found two trucks at Toyota West that were almost exactly what I had ordered. I connected with Will Gillis immediately and he stated the trucks were available and he could have one to me by the middle of the following week. That is exactly what he did. Despite being some 550 miles away and with Thanksgiving inbetween Will was able to get me my truck in perfect condition. His communication with me was great and I could tell he was truly honest as he would call me while in and around my truck and how sweet it was and much I would like it. I would absolutely and with out hesitation recommend Will Gillis and the team at Toyota West if you are interested in a new car or truck. As I said I live in NJ and I would tell anybody that does not live in Ohio to consider looking at The Toyota West inventory. These guys will get you what you want regardless of where you live.
