I purchased a certified car from Toyota of Anaheim a few months ago, only to realize a few days later that the car was not certified and they sold me a used car with no warranty. I would have been understan months ago, only to realize a few days later that the car was not certified and they sold me a used car with no warranty. I would have been understanding if they were transparent with me about the fact that there was some paperwork issue, however they hid this fact from me and I figure this out on my own. I felt scammed and lied to. I am out of state so returning the car was not the best option for both parties, but if I lived in socal, I definitely would have returned the car and take my business somewhere else. I tried to ask for compensation for this misrepresentation and fraud. After weeks of negotiation, they met me less than half way and in the end, we were fighting over $250. At this point, it was not worth my energy anymore, but the penny pinching attitude from all the managers here really shows how much they do not care about the customer after they made the sale. If only they would agree for the extra few hundred dollars, I would have rescinded my formal complaint to California DMV which has an open investigation on this. Even after we reached an agreement, they all ghosted me in my request for more documentation needed to complete my registration. This was really frustrating because this is part of the service I paid for and the least they can do so provide me with the proper documents to register it in my home state. With this whole interaction which lasted months, I had to follow up 95% of the time. They almost never reached out to me and this whole interaction made me feel so little as a person and unappreciated as a customer. I think about how much I wish I never stepped foot into this dealership that one day. This dealership provided great service up until the moment you walk out with a car. Everything else that followed made me feel so disrespected from their greediness, lack of communication, transparency, and ownership in their wrong doing has lost all my respect for this dealership. All the time, energy, money, and emotion I've put into this whole transaction was definitely not worth it and I hope buyers consider the bigger picture of what you need and deserve with your hard earned money. I definitely regretted buying a used car from this dealership, I hope this review will help your decision in doing business here. More
