I regret what you experienced with your Matrix. I can understand how frustrating vehicle breakdowns can be. I brought this to my General Manager's attention and recalls your problems that occurred. The terms of the lifetime powertrain warranty require scheduled maintenance which you indicated was performed 2000 miles later than required thus voiding the warranty. Like all insurance policies, there are requirements and exclusions of coverage. Your failure to perform scheduled maintenance voided your coverage and there is nothing we could do about. Which I understood,even though i do not agree with the decision because it was a manual transmission not an engine. that is why i gave your dealership the option of providing me with a "great deal" on a new car, which wasnt a great deal at all. it was the same deal i got at another dealership. my question of getting my transmission repaired at a discounted rate was never answered. even though immediately after i left your dealership my car was trashed and had to be towed in order to trade it in elsewhere, i have given your dealership every chance i could to provide me with some type of customer service.

I am a bit confused regarding a great deal. You left our dealership and bought somewhere else and got the same deal. Would you at least agree that our offer was competitive since the other dealer could only match it. We purchase the powertrain warranty policy from Great American Insurance Group which sets the guidelines. Those details are provided to all customers at time of purchase. If I could get some additional info from you, I can investigate the issue of the transmission. Your name, vin number and date of the event. Thank you

No, i would not agree. i actually got a better offer and purchased elsewhere. VIN: 2t1kr32e94c306022 and the date of my purchase was 10/18/08 and the date of my last visit was 3/15/12

I investigated the matter in question and have a understanding of what happened. When you bought the vehicle in 200 from Jay Johnson Toyota. The limited powertrain warranty was provided from the previous dealership and was not the same insurance provider we use now. Hudson Automotive Group purchased this dealership appx 2 years ago. The insurance group I referenced previously did not issue your policy in 2008. Again, we regret your experience but was not involved or affiliated with 2008 purchase.
