We took our Prius in to Toyota of Clermont a few months back and when we got it back, we noticed that the outside temperature had stopped reading and we were having other issues with the dashboard electric back and when we got it back, we noticed that the outside temperature had stopped reading and we were having other issues with the dashboard electrical system. We took it back a second time and they said they'd need to order a new thermostat. We took it back a third time and they installed the thermostat but it still didn't work. After waiting for hours, they came in and told us that "rodents had chewed on our wires" and it would cost over $1,000 to replace all the wiring! That didn't sound right to us because we keep our car parked inside our garage all the time. So we took it to Toyota of Orlando and within a few minutes they discovered that the service tech at Clermont had wired the thermostat wrong. They fixed it right away and corrected the other wiring issues the people at Clermont had caused. And it did not cost us a penny. We'll never bring our Prius back to Clermont again. If you're looking for service, beware of some incompetent and shady service personnel out there! More
I bought my 2013 RAV 4 from Clermont and have enjoyed excellent service with the maintenance and new tires for my car over the 8 years. Yesterday I went in because my tire light was on and needed to get excellent service with the maintenance and new tires for my car over the 8 years. Yesterday I went in because my tire light was on and needed to get the air in my tires checked. I was met by a friendly woman who directed me to the air pump, where I was met by another friendly man. He put air in all my tires and told me to have a nice day! Thank you for taking care of the big and little things we need for our cars! Linda McCallister More
The worst experience ever! I had to bring my car to the dealership at three different occasions within a two week period. They failed to identify the issue twice and finally at the third time the car was f dealership at three different occasions within a two week period. The team did not apologize or take accountability for the inconvenience, and would not provide a rental or a loaner when requested. I was put on hold for long periods of time and transfered multiple times while attempting to reach the management team. Lack of professionalism and awful service. More
Worst service center ever. Refused to work on my car because the bumper cover was off due to a minor accident with a deer. Toyota of Claremont was rude disrespectful trashy immoral and raciest. The way the advisor stared at my kids who are mix with a look of disgusted on his face was extremely hurtful. When I purchased my tacoma the salesman told me I would not get approved for the loan without gap and an extended warranty. Me being naive I agreed, relying on the fact this was true. When I learned it wasnt, I went back to the dealer 3 days later and was refunded 3 THOUSAND dollars (after a 2 month wait) Tonight, I picked my truck up from the first oil change and when I say COVERED in oil, that is an understatement. All 4 wheels are scratched beyond belief, the lug nuts look like someone used them as side walk chalk, and the resr hub has a chip on it from how sloppy they tried to reinstall the wheel . When I asked the advisor to speak to a manager he stated that there was not one there. When I insisted on a sales manager maybe, just for someone to witness the situation the manager gave someone a phone to take a photo for him to see. I appreciate the effort, but even if you had to walk outside and put on a dog and pony show it would have went a long way. This dealership has poor performance in every department and needs alot of work. The lack of ownership and accountability is unreal. Highly disappointed and would not recommend. Toyota solution : first was to have them painted, yet they cant even perform a simple task without error, so how should I feel confident to let them do the same thing, yet adding paint in the mix aswell. The other solution was to swap them with a BRAND NEW tacoma for sale (meaning someone would get my damaged wheels with close to 5k miles on them) this is when I lost all faith. This dealership is beyond immoral and does not take accountability for anything. More

Which I don't like to hold grudges So I will graciously oblige. The Vehicle will be taken to my Lexus dealership and Toyota of Cleremont is willing to pick up the cost. If all checks out I will re-rate them and post an updated review as the situation progresses. If all goes well Toyota of Clermont may receive my recommended instead of Avoid at all cost dealership review. More

This was my first new car and I am so disappointed in Toyota who claim to have the number 1 customer service in the industry. I will be trading in my Tacoma and putting myself in financial strain, just to have a vehicle that i feel safe driving with driving everyday. I was pleasantly surprised to find out they had changed over most of their management staff for the better, I was treated very professional and friendly by employees like Heidi Chase and Nick Petrone and actually felt like an important customer to them. Since then I have purchased 3 cars from them with quite pleasant experiences. But things have quickly changed. I had an appointment to discuss extending my lease on Saturday. The dealership had reached out to me to see if I wanted to discuss my options when I came in for my service appointment. I called and explained I normally come in at six for service but scheduled at seven so I could meet with them, She assured me that would be great and she or someone from leasing would meet me at 7, just go to the front desk and ask for her. I arrived at 7 and told service I had an appointment and needed to be out by 8 that I would be over in the sales department ,if he could text me when my car was ready. I went over and asked the young receptionist if my lease person had arrived yet. She acted shocked and said she doesn't come in until 1030. I explained that I had spoken with her yesterday and was told she would meet me at 7 that the lease people don't work normal sale hours. When I asked if she could call or text someone she said she didn't have anyone's number but someone from sales would be there at 8. I explained to her that I changed my service appointment til 7 from 6 just to meet with her and was assured they would be there. Now I felt bad for this young lady. I don't think Nick or the owner of Toyota of Clermont would be happy to hear that they blew off a sales appointment ,with someone who has purchased over 15 Toyota's in his lifetime, that they had worked so hard to convince he should be their customer going forward, To make matters worse, service did not have my car ready! I stood there fuming in the dealership that no longer seem to care about my business. No one approached me for 45 minutes, to ask if they could assist me . Believe me they knew I was very unhappy. Not only was I blown off by the sales department but I was now going to be late for my 830 appointment. There are way too many Toyota dealerships around to have to deal with this uncaring atmosphere and treatment! Lakeland Toyota is a lot further away but I was always treated like a valued customer by them in the past. More
