Shorted, ignored, forgotten. I have been dealing with them for 15 years, bought two Highlanders, usually serviced them at the dealership. I made an appointment for an oil change a I have been dealing with them for 15 years, bought two Highlanders, usually serviced them at the dealership. I made an appointment for an oil change and replacement of two air filters on 4/29/20. I had previously purchased a package of 3 oil changes, and had one left. The lady who made the appointment confirmed this. I arrived at the service department 15 minutes prior to my 11:00 AM appointment. I was checked in, and waited in the designated area. This was during the early part of the Covid lockdown, but only half the other customers and staff wore masks. I am 82 and vulnerable. After waiting 2 hours without being called I went and found the guy who had checked me in. He looked at me uncomprehendingly, I had to tell him why I was there. Turned out the car was finished, he had forgotten about me. He then charged me for the oil change, told me my package had expired. I had also received a promotional mailing offering 10% discount on service and a free car wash, I did not receive those either. I wrote a polite email to Mr. Stahelin, requesting he refund me the price of the oil change. He has never responded. Interestingly, about 15 minutes after I left the dealership, I received an email telling me that my car was ready. I assume it was the man who checked me in and out covering himself if I should complain about the 2 hour wait for my oil change and a couple of air filters, not to mention paying for an oil change that they had already charged me for.
