Please own up to your mistakes I contacted the number on the internet to enquire about a Toyota Corolla, they connected me to Mike and I clearly asked him about the price that was l I contacted the number on the internet to enquire about a Toyota Corolla, they connected me to Mike and I clearly asked him about the price that was listed on Cargurus website which was $19,000, and also told that the price on their website was around $22,000. He told me that they were going to sell me at the price listed on Cargurus. It was a really good price, but I was still interested in some other vehicle and I texted him telling him that I was no longer interested in that car, to which he replied telling me that the manager was willing to take another $1000 off, that's when I got attracted to that deal. Now, he even convinces me that I will get the best deal if I only come to the dealership. I was convinced I will buy this car and told him that I am coming there in a rental car so that I can drive back on this new one. In the dealership, the salesperson was talking to me as if I was asking them to do something insane when I told them I was expecting the price was $18,000. They told me Mike is new, and he did not communicate it properly, and they even spoke to me accusing me of this mistake! The reason they told me was the manager's $1000 discount was on the price listed on their website. None of them even owned up to this mistake of their miscommunication, and I had to leave back on a bus, traveling 80 miles during this COVID pandemic times. More
