Save the headache! After years of buying cars from Carmax and having an awesome experience both in great vehicles AND maintenance, I decided against my better judgement After years of buying cars from Carmax and having an awesome experience both in great vehicles AND maintenance, I decided against my better judgement and bought a van from here. Mainly because I wanted some specific features in the van. I have regretted my decision ever since. No one ever knows anything about the Total Care Package that I bought. I have been unsuccessful in getting the free keys they promised were included. They never know about the anti-bacteria treatment that is included. I couldnt get ahold of their roadside service when we locked the keys in the car. Most recently a brake light came on and we took it in. We also had a persistent tire pressure light. They told my wife it was mice damage, but couldnt or wouldnt show her the damage. They claimed it wasnt covered and charged us a few hundred dollars to “fix it.” The next day the light came back on. They didnt even touch the tire pressure issue, which we probably paid for. So we just took it back in for that, and a well known A/C issue for the van that we bought. Again, they claimed it was mice damage (that “happened” again overnight). Then they said they wouldnt check the A/C until that was fixed. Never-the-less, I said button it up and I’ll just fix it myself. I should have done that in the first place. I have definitey learned my lesson and will never buy from a dealership again. TRUST ME, go to Carmax. World class compared to the dealerships. For example, I walked into Carmax, AFTER WORK one day, found and bought one of the best cars I have ever owned, and was out of there in about 1.5 hours. No hassle. No pressure. They aren’t salesmen who will tell you whatever you want to hear to sell you a car. I’m positive they will even help me out with the van if needed. Theyll be cheaper and I know they won’t piss on my leg and tell me it’s raining. I’ll spread this around the internet. When are dealerships going to wake up? More
