ALMOST A WASTE OF MY TIME why is getting a car such a three ring circus. When I bought my Honda in 2004 I was in and out of the dealer an hour with the car. This time it took why is getting a car such a three ring circus. When I bought my Honda in 2004 I was in and out of the dealer an hour with the car. This time it took 2 days to get the car. The amount of paperwork and other stuff that you have to go through is just too much for a customer to handle. And who's supposed to be the King of the Road the customer!!!! anyways the people at the Toyota dealer wear nice at all but it was just such a an awful experience going through all the stuff you had to do that it just made one so angry that I almost just got up and walked out and said forget about buying a new car. Even today I have to go back to the finance office and redo it or buying outright rather than having a lease which wasn't their fault anyway but. But I didn't get the card delivered to me until 6 in the evening. The pace of the process is way too slow and something needs to be done about it and the people need to be a little sharper to handle the situation. I shouldn't have to raise my voice to get something done that should have been done an hour ago. I know most car dealerships think the buyers are stupid and don't know what the xxxx they're doing and that the dealer has the upper hand which they do but I can see now why people buy online instead of going to the dealer. Like I should have done. My fault thank you More
Being lied to I set up an appointment to look at a truck that I was interested in and traveled the hour to see it. The experience started out to look promising but I set up an appointment to look at a truck that I was interested in and traveled the hour to see it. The experience started out to look promising but after test driving the truck and noticing a pull to the right I started to inspect the vehicle a little further since I do all my own work on my vehicles and have for the past 20 years. I had the dealership pull the car fax report and it stated that there were no accidents but to me I noticed there were 2 cracked taillights and the tailgate was way off center. I looked further and underneath and noticed that the bumper had been straightened and been painted (you could still smell the fresh paint) and there was overspray underneath the truck all over it. I stated that I was still interested in the truck but not for the price that they had it listed for I told them the price I was interested in buying it for which not an unreasonable buying price. The sales person then went to grab who I believe was a sales manager named Peter he stated that this truck was brought in and there was nothing wrong with it and it was a beautiful truck. I then began to tell him what I found in inspecting the truck and it seemed to be in an accident I took him to the truck and showed him my findings and told him my price I was comfortable paying he stated that my price was exactly what they took the truck in on trade for, he then stated that if he sold the truck for this price he would be loosing money since they did 3000 dollars in repairs.Well if you took the price I was offering and added the 3000 in repairs we would be at the price they were asking for the truck originally. I asked him what repairs were done because he originally told me the truck was in excellent condition when they took it in on trade. He began to tell me he would have to look at the service report to let me know which he never did. Something didn't seem right so I went to leave the dealership and he stopped me and came down on the price 500 dollars and I told him were were still a couple thousand off what is a fair price especially with my findings he then laughed and said someone will buy this truck for what we have it listed for and I laughed and said your correct but then you would be lying to a customer if you didn't let them know what my findings were. He laughed again and stated it will get sold. I left the dealership really disappointed in the customer service from Peter. I received a phone call the following day from Winslow I believe another manager and told him this exact story he pulled the service report and told me he mounted 2 tires, re-surfaced the rotors and replaced the brakes and that was it. I asked what about the fresh paint I found on the truck he stated I don't know. I then asked why did Peter lie to me about putting 3000 dollars in repairs to the vehicle when these minor repairs which are standard are very cheap I can re surface 4 rotors at Pep Boys and buy all new brake pads for less than 300 dollars. I was told he didn't know but he can't go backwards and only move forward and just tried to stray from why his managers would lie to a customer and was caught in a lie. He then came down another 1000 on the price and then was told that I won't get the best price over the phone I would have to come in to see what they could do. I was baffled he wanted me to drive an hour again when I was already in their dealership the previous day and was lied to and laughed at. This dealership is supposed to have awards for customer service this is why I went there I got the complete opposite from them I was lied to by their manager in which I caught him. Just BEWARE about being lied to for them to sell you a vehicle. More

I was sold a lemon The dealership sold me a lemon and refuse to fix it or give me any reasonable options. I've had the car 1 year and since month 1 it's had bad engine. The dealership sold me a lemon and refuse to fix it or give me any reasonable options. I've had the car 1 year and since month 1 it's had bad engine. I would like to preface this complaint by saying that I have made numerous attempts to get the situation rectified by the dealership before making this formal complaint. They never helped me which is why I am escalating it. They gave me no choice. I purchased the vehicle in september 2016 and it had recurring engine trouble, battery trouble, and other electrical issues. I was also told to purchase an extended warranty and gap insurance that would cover any issues I may experience. EVERY TIME I brought the vehicle in for an issue the service department tried to charge me, ignoring the extended warranty. The problems with the vehicle began immediately The check engine light came on a couple of months after purchasing and I drove to dealership to have it checked on. When I got to the service department a young man told me he would look at it. A couple of minutes later he said he turned it off and there's "no problem" and I went on my way. Less than 3 months later I noticed my lights seemed dim while driving at night and my check engine light was on again. I set a service appointment and came in around the holidays in December of 2016. After the service dept. inspected the vehicle they determined it was a "battery issue" and replaced the battery. They assured me the lights were working and I left the dealership. That night I realized the lights were STILL not working and I was essentially driving in the dark which was both scary AND dangerous. I went back AGAIN to the service department when I was able to and explained the situation. After waiting for several hours they said they would replace the lights. The real problem, which I can only assume is the engine, was never addressed. When I brought the vehicle back AGAIN June of 2017 I spoke to the serve representative who said they would have to charge me almost $200 to diagnose the engine issue. This was the first time I ever heard of this charge and don't understand why they did not investigate the engine issues in the first place in 2016. They claimed "we charge the diagnosis fee in case you decide to do the work elsewhere" which is ridiculous. I have an extended warranty with them and had no intention of going anywhere else when I have coverage. I told the service agent I would leave the car for the weekend and to please call me and let me know where to go from here. He called me a day later and said "we need to do further diagnosis of the vehicle it's very involved and we can't even get to what we need to get to in the engine because it's a Volkswagen." I went back in a week ago and spoke to John Dearring, GSM/Finance manager and he told me he would speak to the service manager and contact me with a resolution and he never did. I called him 3 times and emailed him. No response. I finally got him on the phone today and his response was "I spoke to the service department and we only have you coming in here twice" which is unhelpful and inaccurate. The lack of care and customer service I received was unbelievable. No one called me back, no one offered any kind of help and I'm paying for and driving a car that I have to restart twice just to get to my office down the street from my home. It's unconscionable to treat a customer this way. This car is a complete lemon and has been from the start. The situation was handled VERY poorly and there is still no resolution and I am stuck with the same problem I had since I purchased the vehicle. More
