I am beyond frustrated and honestly disgusted by my experience at Toyota of Denton. I visited this dealership three separate times trying to buy a 2026 RAV4, and each time I was treated with more disre experience at Toyota of Denton. I visited this dealership three separate times trying to buy a 2026 RAV4, and each time I was treated with more disrespect and dishonesty than the last. I understand negotiating back and forth on price — that’s normal, that’s fine. But what happened on my third visit, July 15, 2026, was not normal. I sat down with a manager, we agreed on a price, and I signed the proposal. In my experience with other dealerships, that signature means the deal is done. Then, out of nowhere, a second manager came out and told me they could not honor the price the first manager had just agreed to and signed off on. How does that even happen internally? Why am I being passed between employees who apparently can’t agree on what their own dealership is authorized to sell a car for? We had no choice but to walk away, completely blindsided. Then, the very next day, July 16, 2026, the SAME manager who had originally agreed to the price called me back and offered me a final price on the RAV4. I said yes. I received a text message and a voicemail confirming the deal. Less than a minute later, I got ANOTHER text telling me the car had already been sold to someone else. I am absolutely stunned. This isn’t a case of a dealership trying to get more money for a car — that I could understand, even if I didn’t like it. This is flat-out dishonest, unprofessional, and disrespectful treatment of a customer who was ready to buy, in writing, on the record. I wasted my time, my trust, and my patience on a dealership that clearly does not stand behind its own word. More
I had a very disappointing experience at Toyota of Denton involving Service Advisor Jayce Pollan. I originally came in for an oil change, but another advisor, Austin, informed me that I did not yet need one and instead recommended a coolant replacement service. We reviewed a coupon together and agreed on a price of approximately $149 plus tax. However, when the final bill was presented, it came out to around $189. When I calmly explained that this was not the agreed price and asked about the additional charges, Jayce Pollan became rude, dismissive, and confrontational rather than trying to resolve the issue professionally. During the interaction: * He told me I would not be allowed to take my vehicle unless I paid the higher amount. * He snatched my keys from me during the disagreement. * He refused my request to speak with another manager and claimed he himself was the manager. * His behavior throughout the interaction was demeaning and unprofessional. What upset me the most was his comment, “you guys are like this,” which I perceived as discriminatory and racially insensitive. That statement made me feel uncomfortable, disrespected, and unwelcome. I have always respected the Toyota brand, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. I hope dealership management reviews this matter seriously, including any available security footage and employee conduct, so future customers are treated with professionalism and respect. More
Worst repair service ever. Every time I go in they claim car needs alignment. (3times). Told them this time OK but I watch. Claimed service was done. Presented a printout. Amazing car-buying experience at Toyota of Denton with Mark Gonzales yesterday! I got the perfect Corolla for my 17-year-old daughter at a great price, thanks to their 4.99% rate promo (ending tomorrow). Mark Gonzales yesterday! I got the perfect Corolla for my 17-year-old daughter at a great price, thanks to their 4.99% rate promo (ending tomorrow). Mark was incredibly kind, professional, and truly went above and beyond to help us. Huge thanks to Simone Minor as well — she was so friendly and patient while teaching my daughter how to use the Toyota app. If you're looking for a car, I highly recommend this dealership and especially Mark. Don’t miss the promotion if you can make it by tomorrow — but even after that, this is still the best spot to buy a car! More

There was complete pricing transparency and the buying process was a breeze. From the salesperson (Mark Gonzales) to financing (Miguel) to the person that helped me get connected and learn the features of the vehicle before a long drive home (Simone), everyone was pleasant, respectful, and genuine. I got the price I wanted on a hard to find model without ever experiencing the discomfort we have all come to expect when walk into a car dealership. I live four hours away... when I need my next vehicle I'll do my research again of course, but my first (and probably only) call will be to Mark at Toyota Of Denton. More
Stopped by for a test drive and potentially purchase a vehicle. Employees were friendly but the finance and sales managers simply cannot explain calculations/fees rates beyond the surface level printout w vehicle. Employees were friendly but the finance and sales managers simply cannot explain calculations/fees rates beyond the surface level printout with unreasonable figures that defy the logic of basic math. Once probed with questions by an informed buyer they did not want to answer or negotiate a fair price. I will be visiting surrounding dealers who value customers business. More

My scheduled appointment was to get t Fly, I am writing to you to make you aware of an awful customer experience I had at Toyota of Denton today. My scheduled appointment was to get the recommended services at the 50k mark for my Tacoma. These services include tire rotation. After I paid the invoice and the vehicle was returned to me, I noticed that I was billed for the tire rotation, but the service was not performed. I returned to the service advisor to point this out. The service advisor was able to confirm that the service wasn't provided. Billing for services not provided is a form of fraud. I am writing to you to inform you that I will file a complaint with the FTC, the BBB and the Texas Attorney General office to report this incident. Best regards, Eduardo Arteaga More
I took my 2019 Lexus es350 to Toyota of Denton for the 120,000 mile service out of convenience. They are 10 minutes from my house, and with a busy week, I did not wish to take a day to take it to Dallas. Won't make that mistake again. Among the services on the 120,000 service is to replace the spark plugs. I was told as I was checking in that it was approximately $ 600 and some. When I was checking out, and was given a total bill of 1,373 for the total service, my comment was "wow." I was asked, did he not quote you the price, to which I replied $ 600 and some. She replied that was just the labor. Well, not exactly. The labor for changing 6 spark plugs was $ 959.80. The total cost for replacing the spark plugs was $ 1,097.80. According to what I've seen on line, the average cost for replacing spark plugs is $ 250-700, all in. The other thing I am not sure I understand is how you can have your car at a dealership for 2 hours, and the total labor charged during that 2 hours was $ 1,032. What sort of hourly rate is that? How can they charge these outrageous labor charges when it took only 2 hours to perform to complete 120,000 mile checkup? My complaint is not with the service reps. They were courteous and are did their job well. This problem is well above their pay grade. More
Service dept overpriced and shotty work. Spent 1700 plus $ on replacing back hatch motors ( or whatever makes it open). Just for it to have same problem 2 years later. Only had one year wa Spent 1700 plus $ on replacing back hatch motors ( or whatever makes it open). Just for it to have same problem 2 years later. Only had one year warranty on this service so we are SOL. About a year ago also took car in for water pump issue. They wanted 3 times more to fix as local mechanic. We passed on Toyota and car runs great after local mechanic fixed it. Just still have back hatch issue. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. More
