This is hands down one of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had. I had a CONFIRMED APPOINTMENT and when I arrived, the SERVICE DOORS WERE CLOSED. No sign. No notice. No warning. I stood outside in Chicago winter like an idiot for over 30 minutes until someone casually opened the door. Then I’m told: “Everyone is in a meeting.” “Computers won’t be ready for 1.5 hours.” So why the xxxx are you booking appointments if you’re not even operational? I was told to leave and come back later. I’m a Lyft driver — that means real money lost, not just inconvenience. Zero respect for customers’ time. After I called Toyota customer service and complained, I was told I’d be put in an express lane. I came back… and STILL waited. No urgency. No apology. No explanation. Just silence and attitude. I finally got out at 1:14 PM — HOURS after my appointment — for a BASIC oil change. Paid $103, lost income, wasted half my day, and NOT A SINGLE PERSON APOLOGIZED. No compensation. Nothing. This place is: • Disorganized • Poorly managed • Completely unprofessional • Disrespectful to working customers If this is “Toyota service,” it’s embarrassing. A confirmed appointment here means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Avoid this location unless you enjoy wasting time and money. More
The dealer rep I worked with was very friendly and competent. However, my biggest complaint is that the waiting area is ludicrously FREEZING - no excuse to have to sit somewhere that cold for possibl competent. I brought my Toyota Prius in for a simple 65,000 checkup. It turned out the front bearings were leaking grease and so needed to be repacked. It couldn’t be done by the end of the lof the day and I checkup. It turned out the front bearings were leaking grease and so needed to be repacked. They gave me a loaner overnight and the master mechanic stayed til 8:00 PM to finish the job so I could have the car back first thing the next morning! I cannot imagine better service. More
