About a month ago I found myself requiring a new car and I was debating whether to go with a Nissan, a Ford (like my last car), or a Toyota. I'd never had a Toyota before, but I had heard great things about how durable and reliable they were, and someone who knew Zlatan pointed me in his direction. Despite that, I was still debating whether or not I wanted to be there as I walked through the door, but all that changed after talking to Zlatan. A lot of dealers might take advantage of a girl who doesn't know that much about cars, but Zlatan was patient, informative, very professional, and treated me like a human being. There was absolutely no pressure and it was very easy to talk to him, which is a rarity in car salesmen. I never felt that awful “make a decision now or the world will end” feeling with him that most salesmen try to instill in you so you will make the purchase. Instead, he was very relaxed and down-to-earth the whole time. He allowed me to test drive each car I was interested in and really see how they handled both in town and on the highway, while he helped me figure out which model I loved, not just liked. During the financial process he answered every question I had and really went above and beyond to figure out the best terms for my particular situation, which is unusual and I greatly appreciated. As I read through all the paperwork, he made sure I understood everything and did everything he could to help move the process along and make it as quick and painless as possible. When shopping for a new truck, I visited a few Toyota dealerships and decided to purchase from this dealership because the sales person, Tom Kirkham, was very attentive and interested in doing business with me. I have bringing my Tacoma back for regular maintenance to this dealer for several reasons- 1) they have a great customer waiting area with Internet access, so I am able to schedule service during the week and still get work done while I wait, 2) I have always been pleased with the quality of work, and 3) the service staff is always friendly and a pleasure to deal with. My most recent visit on 10/24/12, I dealt with Carl Anderson. He had the unenviable task of having to inform me that the place I had my previous oil change had stripped the drain plug and I would need a replacement pan to properly fix the damage. He took the time to show me the issue, wrote a description of the issue for me to show the place that caused the damage, and even gave me the damage part for further evidence to assist in recouping the cost of the repair. Carl was professional, friendly, and most helpful. I will definitely continue to have my truck serviced at Ron Hibbard Toyota. More
