Great 1st time experience buying from a dealership I have purchased all my prior cars from individuals. This was my first time purchasing from a dealership. I checked multiple dealerships around town I have purchased all my prior cars from individuals. This was my first time purchasing from a dealership. I checked multiple dealerships around town and test drove many different vehicles. I narrowed it down to a Toyota. I tried dealing with several Toyota dealers in the area and had a poor experience at all of them except Ron Hibbard Toyota. At the other dealers games were played, lies were told, prices were raised, people were rude, bait/switch happened, hard/pushy sales were tried, etc. I wasted a lot of time on them and was turned off from Toyota dealerships until Ron Hibbard Toyota. I initially went in and spoke with Jason. He seemed nice enough at first, but when I told him what I told every single other dealership in town, I prefer email, he scoffed and said he does not email much. I explained my reasoning (busy with work) and told him I would text him if I emailed him. I emailed him a few days later asking about the particular car (which I ended up buying). He ignored my email. Even the dealers I mentioned above that I did not have a good experience with emailed me as I politely asked. I text him about the email. The email was too long to type on my phone via text. He responded a few days later with some answers via text. He ignored the email entirely. I asked a few more questions via text and he never responded again. I was once again turned off by a Toyota dealership. I kept looking around town for the two Toyota's I was interested in (Prius and Camry Hybrid). I found a few more to look at. I ultimately decided I would give Ron Hibbard a chance again because the initial vibe I got was good, the reviews were great, and the Camry Hybrid I liked was there. I called up to make sure they still had it and spoke with Wayne. Wayne was great to work with. He was knowledgeable, nice to talk with, personable, and his kindness sold me the car. I worked with him and Steve to make a great deal. I put a down payment and picked the car up a few days later. Had Jason responded to my emails he could have had the sale. After a couple days driving the car I noticed a couple safety features were not working properly. I told Wayne about this and he set up an appointment for me with service. At no cost they fixed the items and even ordered a specialty part. Jordan was really nice and after 1.5 hours of waiting offered me a loaner car for the day because the tool to fix my problem was broken. A few hours later I was called and came back to get my car. They washed it for free too! I look forward to referring people to Ron Hibbard Toyota, getting service done here, and maybe even buying another car in the distant future. I highly recommend Ron Hibbard Toyota. More
