At e UNPAID** I've purchased around 10 Toyotas and dealt with dealerships across multiple states. Toyota of Gallatin has been my worst experience. At every stage, we had to chase employees to do what they said they would: repairs, callbacks, a loaner, closing paperwork, and now payment for a car they bought from me. My 2023 Camry XLE had only about 15,000 miles when its check-engine light came on. The dealership returned it twice saying it was fixed. Both times, the light came back. I was first told the catalytic converter was bad, then told a part installed during the first repair was faulty. I specifically asked them not to send us on another trip to pick it up unless it was fixed. They assured me it was. After a third occurrence and escalation to Toyota corporate, they ultimately replaced the catalytic converter. Callbacks were missed, loaner arrangements were inconsistent, and we had to pursue basic updates. When they finally collected our Camry and delivered a loaner, I had to request the agreement and confirmation they had received our car. The next morning, a manager asked WHAT loaner their employee had delivered. I sent photos so they could identify it. We've also had problems with service instructions being ignored on another Toyota, including reusable filters being discarded. I lost confidence in the car and agreed to sell it to the dealership for $25,000. The paperwork shows $21,603.81 to Truist and $3,396.19 owed to me. I requested the closing documents in advance so my wife and I could make one efficient trip on September 25. The paperwork still wasn't ready. We even had to request copies of what we signed. **The closing appointment was surreal.** After everything we'd been through, the sales manager spent time talking about what he described as his family's "pot farm" instead of focusing on the transaction. He also told us the dealership was in a "lull" that was difficult to get out of. Multiple employees told me they believed Lithia's acquisition had damaged the dealership. Those were employees' opinions, not facts I'm claiming to have independently verified. My wife and I left stunned by the lack of professionalism. I even had to ask for copies of my sales paperwork, twice. SO crazy. Dealership staff repeatedly said we would RECEIVE the equity check within THREE CALENDAR WEEKS of the sale, overnighted with tracking. That deadline was October 16. As of October 19, I still have no $3,396.19, tracking number, or definite delivery date. A third-party listing-history site reports the car was advertised for resale by September 27, just two days after we sold it. I also saw it on the dealership's own website. The listing has since disappeared, but I do NOT know whether the car sold. What I know is it was marketed while my remaining payment was outstanding. When I asked management for an update and said I would escalate the matter to corporate and regulators, the response was: "That is up to you. I have other service parts customer duties that require attention. Not a sales issue. If you'll give me a little time before threats start I'll get the info. But again your choice." **Asking about money owed to me is not a threat.** I filed a complaint with the Tennessee Motor Vehicle Commission. In its response, the dealership ACKNOWLEDGED the $3,396.19 owed and supplied a NON-NEGOTIABLE accounting copy of a check dated September 28. It now says company policy requires holding payment until Truist delivers the title, expected in early November. I understand title processing takes time. I don't understand why we were repeatedly promised payment within three weeks, why the missed deadline wasn't explained proactively, or why every update required another chase. After more than 20 years of buying cars, I have never experienced this degree of failed follow-through. We will take our remaining Toyota elsewhere for service. **I cannot recommend Toyota of Gallatin.** More

Awesome experience. Lydia Atmore (salesperson) and I have successfully completed a purchase each time that I have dealt with her. Johnny Deturris (sales manager) worked Lydia Atmore (salesperson) and I have successfully completed a purchase each time that I have dealt with her. Johnny Deturris (sales manager) worked the deal with me and went above and beyond to reach my goals. John Denton (finance) had all the paperwork ready to go when I met with him and the deal was completed without any surprises as he continued to look for savings till the completion. It was a slight complex deal that ended with me being happier than I expected. Truly I have prior and new friends at Toyota of Gallatin and highly recommend that you go see them and look up these fine folks that I mentioned and pleasantly surprised as I am. More
Initially we came to Toyota of Gallatin to have some extensive service performed on our 2010 Avalon clearing in March of 2016. Everyone there was very helpful and so accommodating, that we ended up n extensive service performed on our 2010 Avalon clearing in March of 2016. Everyone there was very helpful and so accommodating, that we ended up not only having the Avalon serviced, but we bought a 2025 Toyota 4Runner “ Trailhunter” hybrid that is incredible! Our sales person, J.R.Perez, was the catalyst for this purchase, as he shared his extensive knowledge of the “turbo” powered hybrid engine, it’s fuel efficiency, inclement weather drive-ability; safety features, and up-to- date technological advances. Who knew?!!!J.R.knew. We are so excited with this purchase: owning a vehicle that will last us for the remainder of our driving years, providing us with every possible option for traveling: off - roading, accommodating passengers, making trips in comfort and luxury, without excessive costs, due to the hybrid’s technology, while also enjoying that sporty, 4-Runner experience! J.R.’s expertise and enthusiasm for this vehicle proved too much to resist! If you are in the market for another car, truck or touring vehicle, Toyota of Gallatin is the place and these are the people who can make your search amazing!! P. S. Their service department really deserves a “ shout out” too, as they are all wonderful and will do their best to make your experience a positive one!! Bob and Jan Morehead More

Ryan Panchisin and Justin Abernathy were very professional, helpful, and patient. No one was pushy or like the “ typical used car salesman”.
