Toyota of Gastonia - Service Center

While not as extravagant as the superb service offered by my Lexus dealer, Toyota of Gastonia offers an excellent service experience. Service personnel are friendly and accommodating and appear to appreciate the customer's business. There is some effort to "sell" service, but it is not unduly high pressure or for silly services, and if you say "no" they do not argue. Service is carried out correctly and promptly, and service writers communicate well. I recently took my '97 4Runner in on a Saturday for a minor repair to the trailer hitch wiring harness. I only had 2 hours to spare, and they were very busy, but they "worked me in" as a longtime customer and the car was ready in less than an hour. On another recent occassion, I had this vehicle in for mostly routine service, and they gave me a loaner car even though my 4Runner has 155K miles on it and I didn't buy it there. (Only problem was that they had run out of Toyotas so they gave me a Suzuki Aerio (!) they got from Enterprise Car Rental.) Within the limitations imposed by not being a prestige marque like Lexus or Mercedes, I highly recommend Toyota of Gastonia. Good on sales too. More
