I love Toyota vehicles but I hate this dealer. It is a terrible representation of the company. Here to scam you and make you pay more for a vehicle than expected. The finance dept is a joke and rude. Wish I could give zero stars. I would not recommend this place for a first time buyer they will absolutely will screw you over. I purchased a vehicle with them a few years ago told them we didn’t know what place for a first time buyer they will absolutely will screw you over. I purchased a vehicle with them a few years ago told them we didn’t know what we were doing cause we were first time buyers and they walked all over us. I’m currently trading in my vehicle with another dealership and was told they charged me a power train warranty I didn’t need and I’m trying to get a copy of my warranty and cancel it and the GENERAL MANGER can’t give me that information because they have warranty specialist for that but the finance manager is the one who snuck the warranty into my contract? It took me 9 time to call to get in touch with someone cause they kept hanging up on me. They are so unorganized. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt was going to go back to trade in my vehicle with them since that’s where I bought it. I went in for appraisal and haven’t even got a phone call about that either. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I will never purchase a vehicle with them ever again. The sales manager attitude sucks and are complete unprofessional! More

Horrible customer service! I can't speak for the Sales Department, but their Service Department is seriously lacking professionalism. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 2pm on a Friday; arri Department, but their Service Department is seriously lacking professionalism. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 2pm on a Friday; arrived at 1:50pm, left to run errands (I had someone pick me up). They called about an hour later indicating it was ready. However, I was in the next town over, so I asked if I could pick up the next day. When I arrived at 3pm the next day, Saturday, I was told they hadn't even started on my vehicle but they were getting ready to "jump right on it". Jump right on it? All I wanted was my oil changed and tires rotated (which they upsold the day before). They had my vehicle over 24 hours! When I complained, no one cared, EXCEPT Amanda (the Customer Relationship Manager). The Service Department's response was, "well when would you like to reschedule?" Ummm, no thanks. I already HAD an appointment scheduled that they completely ignored. My advice, take your time and money down the road to Greenville or Kinston. I've been to both dealerships and they are wonderful to work with; Goldsboro, not so much. Goldsboro indicated they work "working on improving" their customer service... well, keep on working on it because it definitely needs help. More

Sold an unsafe car and lied about it! I am writing regarding my purchase of a 2015 Toyota Venza XLE on Saturday August 31st. I negotiated the terms of the sale and trade with Anthony Newel I am writing regarding my purchase of a 2015 Toyota Venza XLE on Saturday August 31st. I negotiated the terms of the sale and trade with Anthony Newell of Toyota of Goldsboro. On the day of the test drive and purchase, I dealt with Pete Corliss, sales person and Milford Mills, business manager. I noted that the brakes felt different than that of the pick-truck that I had been driving but attributed it to the difference of driving a truck vs a car. I had done my research and pursued the purchase of that car because of the history and low mileage. The car was sold to me and it was expressly stated that a pre-delivery and safety inspection was performed on the car. 1. I took a trip two days after the purchase. On the road, I noticed serious problems with stopping the vehicle and took it to a Toyota dealership in Marietta, GA where the front and rear brakes and rotors all needed to be replaced IMMEDIATELY because it was DANGEROUS to drive. I have attached the paperwork. Please note the brake condition on the multi-point inspection done on 9/3/19. 2. A few days later, mechanic at my place of employment walked by my car looked at the tires (this was completely unsolicited), came to find me in my office and told me that I needed to see a tire dealer immediately because my right rear tire looked unsafe. The tire dealer then told me that the rear passenger tire was DANGEROUS to drive on and a safety hazard because there was little to no tread, several puncture marks, the sidewall had been shredded, and it would not pass any safety inspection. Further, he noted that the front passenger tire had very low tread, was unevenly worn and that both needed replacement immediately. I have attached the invoice. Please note the tire dealer’s comment “at least two tires very dangerous” on 9/10/19. In less than two weeks, I spent $1422 on EMERGENCY REPAIRS to a vehicle that was sold to me as having had a “safety inspection” performed. I am deeply troubled by the fact that my life and the lives of my passengers were put at risk in a vehicle with BAD BRAKES and BAD TIRES. What could be more dangerous for a large car dealership to sell than a vehicle with no brakes and bad tires? I requested that the dealership reimburse me half the cost of the repairs-$700. Shame on me for being a “trusting consumer”. But really shame on Toyota of Goldsboro for advertising and selling a car as serviced and inspected that was not safe to drive. I was completely appalled by their lack of customer service. More
