I owned a 2020 Tacoma Off-Road Long Bed V6 Truck that was in a total loss accident on April 2024 and my only other vehicle was a 2000 Toyota Corolla that I had as a second vehicle. I recently got the insuran in a total loss accident on April 2024 and my only other vehicle was a 2000 Toyota Corolla that I had as a second vehicle. I recently got the insurance money for my total loss and was looking to buy two new 2024 Corolla LE Hybrids to replace my Tacoma and my old Corolla thats almost 25 years old. I shopped at all my local dealerships and nobody had the 2024 Corolla LE Hybrids in stock in any color except white but I wanted both vehicles that I would be purchasing with black interior and the first vehicle in either Black Metallic or Ruby Flare Pearl exterior and the second vehicle in either Celestite, Blueprint, or Silver Metallic exterior. The sales person who helped us out at Toyota of Hollywood was named Jerson Francisco and he was very friendly while we were at the dealership, he showed us around the dealership and we explained what we were looking for. Jerson explained that they didnt have the vehicle that we were looking for in the colors we wanted and there was no dealership in all of Florida that had those vehicles available right now so they would have to transfer the vehicles from out of state if I wanted them but they did have a white one at Toyota of Hollywood that I could test drive to see if thats the vehicle that I wanted to buy. I test drove the white one that they had in the dealership and while it wasnt the color I wanted I loved the vehicle and wanted to go ahead with the buying process. I informed Jerson that I would be purchasing the first vehicle 100% cash and the second vehicle I would purchase with 50% cash and 50% financing from my local credit union which had already been pre-approved prior to my visit. Jerson explained that I would need to put down a $500 deposit on each vehicle (2 x $500 since im buying two vehicles) and that they would transfer the vehicles from out of state to Toyota of Hollywood and it would take approximately 1.5 weeks... I said sure lets go through with it since 1.5 weeks isnt that much time to wait for the vehicles. I waited the 1.5 weeks that Jerson told me it would take and there was no communication at all from Jerson on if the vehicles were on their way, how much longer it would take, if they were successful in obtaining the vehicles or anything. 2 weeks after I placed the deposits down I get an email message from the Internet Sales Manager named Christian Durand saying that he has an important message for me and that I should call him at the phone number in the email message so I called the number and Christian Durand says that they already have the 1st vehicle available (a black exterior with black interior vehicle). I told Christian Durand that I was already working with another sales person named Jerson Francisco and what would happen to their sale if I started working with him instead? after some back and forth I told him that I put the deposits down on two vehicles and I needed for them both to be there so that I could negotiate the price of both vehicles at the same time. The second week I got sick for a week and decided not to visit the dealership because I wasnt feeling well but I sent Jerson a message telling him that Christian Durand contacted me saying that the first vehicle was there, Jerson confirmed that they had already received the first vehicle and now their waiting for the second vehicle. I told Jerson that I would come by next week (week 3) to pick up both vehicles since it was already going to be double the amount of time that he told me it would take to transfer the vehicles from another dealership. The third week when I went to the dealership to pick up both cars Jerson told me that they didnt have the black vehicle that they told me had already arrived and there was no eta on the second vehicle either because the dealership that was out of state had already sold the vehicle they wanted to transfer before they could put in the transfer request. More
