This Toyota Dealership is clearly not capable of handling the amount of business they get. I called 3 times attempting to make an appointment for my regular 5,000 mile service. The first 2 times I was forwarded to the concierge who took my information so the service department could call me back when they had some time. I never received a call back and it has been 1 week! On the third time I called, while I was on hold, the automated message said that you do not need an appointment for regular service. It said to just drive in. When I got connected to the concierge, I tried to confirm this was actually the case. They were not able to actually answer my question. They would just say that if it was routine maintenance, then they had an express line. They wanted me to leave another message for their service team to call me back. I decided to just drive in first thing when they opened at 7. I arrived at 6:50 and was approximately 8 cars back in line. Someone finally came to check on me at 7:25. When I told them that I was bringing my Rav4 in for its 5,000 mile service, the individual than asked me if I had made an appointment!? I told them that I had done my due diligence to attempt to make an appointment, and was unable to. I did not have a choice and had to wait at the dealership for over 2 hours for them to perform the routine oil change. I wish that I lived closer to I-5 Toyota where I purchased my Rav4. They were much more personable and very responsive. Unfortunately, this is the closest Toyota Dealership. I chose to purchase my Rav4 down at I-5 Toyota after having visited Toyota of Kirkland, because they did not have ridiculous dealer mark ups and actually had the time to find the right car for my needs. More
So quick to sell you a car with things such as extended Toyota care to do oil changes and such. Even after making an appointment (second time and even worse results) came in and was told a grim “it will be Toyota care to do oil changes and such. They don’t tell you any news about the service, I found they do not rotate the tires but say they do the when called on it try to make it your problem. Why are you mad? Hum? It is unbelievably awful and they know they can’t fix it. Or won’t. So you can expect to waste a ton of time every time on questionable service under your warranty that was pushed on the purchase of the car, said to save money, when really I wasted many hours each time which amounts to an awful lot more money spent with all that one can not do on the day of. To top it off and really bring it all to peak they don’t tell you when your car is ready. Each time I waited an extra 2hrs before i came to check. Avoid all purchases and service at this forsaken to forever be a mess location. More

They added $7000 as delaer added options on 33k Rav4. Given some discount when asked but still around 6k. They are taking advantage of demand. Oldest dealer trick in the book. .. tell you they have the vehicle when you call about it and then tell you when you get there (in this case 30 minutes later) that it just sold 5 mins .. tell you they have the vehicle when you call about it and then tell you when you get there (in this case 30 minutes later) that it just sold 5 mins ago. On an early Tuesday morning too. Gee, what a coincidence. And all they had were more expensive models. Turned around and left immediately. Will never return. I bought somewhere else. More

I walked out but they followed me and agreed to take it off. 2 weeks before arrival I went in to get a value on my trade to be ready. We AGREED on a price. Van arrives and they write up the paperwork with thousands less than what they AGREED to and didn't care about it. What am I going to do? Wait another 3 months??? I guess they got there markup after all. More

Since it seemed to be an unusual problem we decided to take the vehicle to ToK for diagnosis. The service manager (Mr Malloy) told us that off brand brake pads had caused the rotors to be “all torn up” and required replacement. From my inspection, I knew that the rotors were in good shape and could not see how a reasonable person would say they needed to be replaced. Definitely not “torn up.” Also, only brake pads from reputable brands had ever been put on this vehicle that transports my wife and child. What we were told by ToK was obviously not true. Had had an ok experience with ToK in the past. Now we don’t feel that we can trust them. Everyone was polite. Also, ToK is expensive, even for a dealership. We don’t expect to return to ToK for either service or for a vehicle. Not recommended. More
