I took my 2015 Lexus GS 350 to Toyota of Murfreesboro to have a diagnostic test run on it because it ran hot. I informed them what was going on with the car and they did a complete diagnostic test on it and have a diagnostic test run on it because it ran hot. I informed them what was going on with the car and they did a complete diagnostic test on it and told me that I had a blown head gasket in my car, and that they could fix it for over $7000 even though my car was showing no signs of a blown head gasket, and they even told me if I'm not going to get it fixed by them, to take the car home and park it until I get it fixed. so I took my car to Lexus of cool springs to get a second opinion. I'm glad I did because they did a complete diagnostic test on the vehicle and said that a blown head gasket was definitely not the right diagnosis because they found nothing major when they performed the test, just some minor services that can be performed on the car. They didn't understand why Toyota gave me that diagnostic for my car. I called Toyota of Murfreesboro back and let them know about the second opinion, and they wanted me to bring the paperwork in and show them, so they could refund me for the diagnostic test, but when I got there they wanted to keep my car again and do another test before refunding me. I didn't feel comfortable with them doing anything to my car because of the terrible and incorrect diagnostic results they had given me before. It's been about 3 weeks since they gave me that diagnostic result and my car is still running great, with no issues. Be careful of going with their diagnosis because you could end up spending thousands of dollars for something that is not an issue. More
