Searched for the right vehicle, called to check it was available, made the online application process to save time at the dealer and when i arrived, the sales person was kind and polite to show me the vehicle and then proceeded to discuss the deal. To my surprise the rates being offered through their financial department were not only outrageous but borderline aiming to take advantage of me. To their surprise, i had already been approved by another lender before going to the dealer with an excellent rate, so when i mentioned this they proceeded to offer me the out the door price to get the deal done, only that it was over 5000$ higher than the paperwork and online application because they said they needed to mark up the vehicle for demand. This was at 8pm on a tuesday night with not a single person in the lot. When i asked to speak with finance a guy named Eddie who i must highlight has absolutely zero clue what customer service is, when asked about the mark up sarcastically held his laugh and responded “yes i made a mistake, it should have been 10,000$”. I dont know how a person like this can hold a position to deal with customers in general, absolute lack of professionalism, manners and customer appreciation. Mind me, i used a system they provide to make the process easier, to which i made my calculations and organized a budget to buy the car, but instead they dont take it into consideration and said the prices online are not correct. He couldve easily sold another vehicle on a slow night but instead decided to be rude and attempt to rip me off. This was my first experience with toyota after owning multiple vehicles of all kinds and i have never had this situation before. Zero stars.
