WE are very pleased with our purchase. 2009 Mitz. Eclipse GT Spyder Convertible. ( Red ) All the salesman, finance men and associates were very friendly. When we went to test drive the car , I had no idea GT Spyder Convertible. ( Red ) All the salesman, finance men and associates were very friendly. When we went to test drive the car , I had no idea we would be going home with it. Mark really worked with us to meet the price we could afford. Everyone wished us good luck with the car and was very friendly and sociable. Mike even introduced me to the parts and mechanics and they ordered touch up paint for the back of the car. Alex , the finance man worked very hard to find us the right bank to finance the car for us and made sure extras like bumper to bumper coverage was on the car for dents scratches and parts. Our overall experience with Halterman's Toyota has been overwhelmingly positive. This is our second leasing. Our first was a Rav4 and this time we upgraded to a Highlander. I was not happy that the car I bought had the Drive Pur System installed in it without me being asked if I wanted it. Neither Mike, nor Mark mentioned anything about Drive Pur when I came in for the test System installed in it without me being asked if I wanted it. Neither Mike, nor Mark mentioned anything about Drive Pur when I came in for the test drive and when I agreed to buy the car. When I came back the next day to pick up the vehicle, Mike took me across the street where I met with Alex who did the signing of the paperwork. The whole process went quickly and I should have taken the time to read the papers that I signed before signing them. I trusted Alex which was a mistake because the entire Drive Pur thing was confusing and ambigous which is what I think was his intention. I was not happy the next day when I took the time to actually look at everything that I signed and realized that the Drive Pur System cost $990. Alex made it sound like I was getting that product for no cost or that it was not included in the purchase price of the car but it is listed on the Buyer's Order that I signed that night. I still don't understand how I got the Drive Pur System in the car without my approval and why I was not told about it before I came to pick up the car. Alex's explanation of how it didn't affect the monthly price that Mark quoted to me the night before leads me to believe that Mark included it in his calculations without telling me it would be done to the car. Alex also gave me some cockamamie explanation about how the interest is calculated that covers the cost of the Drive Pur System that doesn't add up. The whole thing stinks and I think you should be more honest with people instead of just doing something and trying to explain your way out of it after the person has agreed to buy the car. What other shady tricks were played on me that I am not aware of? I called and talked to Mark and Alex the next day but the answers I got did not satisfy my questions as to what actually happened and why. More

I have to say that I've purchased or leased numerous new vehicles in my life but I have never had as pleasant an experience as I had at Haltermans when I leased this RAV4. Eric was exceptionally helpful and courteous as well as being a very pleasant and personable young man. Also, I have never experienced being at a car dealership where the general manager comes out and introduced himself before we even started to discuss business. That was incredibly classy as far as I'm concerned and it made a great 1'st impression. I was also impressed by the fact that Eric gave my wife and I a "tour" of the service garage and explained all things concerning servicing. I was very impressed and will certainly be a repeat customer.... More
