I became aware Halterman's through AutoTrader.com while I was searching for a used Toyota 4 Runner. Having found a 2005 4 Runner with very low mileage, I first spoke with the Internet Manager from Halterman was searching for a used Toyota 4 Runner. Having found a 2005 4 Runner with very low mileage, I first spoke with the Internet Manager from Halterman's who then connected me with my salesman, Robert "Coach" Acosta. I spoke with "Coach" regarding the 4 Runner I was inquiring about to determine if it was worthwhile for me to make the trip from my home in York, PA. He confirmed the vehicle was in excellent condition. I made the 2 hour trip that very same afternoon, met with "Coach" and Mr. Richmond, and with very little "haggle" and deal was signed that same day. I returned to the dealership two days later to pick up the vehicle which was spotless. Cannot speak highly enough about my experience with "Coach", Mr. Richmond and all of the fine folks I met with at Halterman's. They are certainly a class act and well worth my drive. Generally, buying a car is like going to the dentist - an unpleasant but necessary experience. I must say that I found Rich Rizzo to be a pleasure to work with and very congenial. We had already done our research and had a sense of what we were looking for in a used car. We did not feel like he was using any sales "tactics" on us and we felt very comfortable working with him. He listened to our needs and helped steer us to several possibilities. I think Rich had a good sense of current inventory and what might work for us.
