Not sure if I was going to buy Prior to Halterman's I was at another dealer. I went in saying to both that I did not need to buy a car but was considering it before my trade in valu Prior to Halterman's I was at another dealer. I went in saying to both that I did not need to buy a car but was considering it before my trade in value went lower. I wanted to see the Camry and the Rav4 LE. I test drove both at the first dealer and they gave me a good price on the Rav4 I was leaning toward because it made more sense for my lifestyle presently. I was anxious about the decision and wanted to think about it. I needed to compare another dealer, not that there was anything wrong at the first, but I wanted to compare trade in values. At Halterman's I explained the situation and they gave me a price which was higher, but they offered a little more for my car. When I showed the first quote they met it, but extended the warranty on the drive train to 100,000 miles and offered some extra services. Both pluses. Ryan Barrick, my salesman, was more than patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. He was so understanding when I got a little weepy over a personal issue with trading in my car. I still needed to think about this decision though. I had a 6 year old beautiful Avalon that I loved and was never going to have another luxury car like it, hated spending money, and was fearful of making the wrong decision. Plus, I never pictured myself in an SUV. Every manager and salesman at Halterman's was friendly and helpful. I was offered water and cookies several times. We joked around. Of course they wanted to make the sale and did all they could, but I never felt pressured. When I explained all my hesitations they offered me the chance to take it home overnight. That was beyond helpful. I was able to drive further with it, look it over, play with the accessories . I got to consider what would work better for me...cash or 0% financing and what I liked and did not like about the LE. I was able to think rationally and put it all in perspective. By bringing it home and being allowed to think I realized the hesitation came from the fact I was losing too many options and needed to get the XLE and stay more or less in budget. If I was pressured I would have been unhappy with my decision. No, the Rav4 is not the Avalon, but it works for me and has just enough to make me happy. I actually ended up with the hybrid model. It is fun to drive and does suit me, Thank you all at Halterman's for letting me take the time I needed to figure out what I needed. Thank you for being such a friendly team and letting me drive you a little crazy. It was a good experience. More

They are a Christian based auto dealer and are honest, but the real reason we came back to buy this time was Brian Conte. Brian is more than a dealer, he has become our friend. He won't push you or lie to you. He is honest, humble and kind. Brian will tell you when it isn't a good deal, or when it is. If your not sure, he'll tell you to think about it and when your sure, call him. He doesn't keep bothering you and calling you. He is knowledgeable, and answers all your questions, and he is not afraid to say I don't know, but I'll find out. My daughter bought a car from Brian, and so did my future son-in-law. My granddaughter is 14, and she told Brian that no matter where she is, when she turns 17, she will go to Halterman's and told Brian he better be there so she can buy a car from him. I can't say anymore.....except....WE LOVE YOU BRIAN.......THANK YOU FRIEND!!!!! More
