Bad experience When you travel over an hour for an appointment and find the waiting room full it's not a good sign. Worse was when we got the car back and there wer When you travel over an hour for an appointment and find the waiting room full it's not a good sign. Worse was when we got the car back and there were black smudges all over the dashboard, steering wheel, and glove compartment(?)! My husband had his own auto shop for 20 years, so knows a bit about cars. When told we needed to spend $40 to have the battery terminals cleaned of corrosion, he said no. When we drove off the lot he checked the battery terminals: zero corrosion. Also told we needed to spend over $55 for a new cabin air filter; husband said no, just blow it out and put it back in. On the drive home, our fan was so noisy. Guess: the filter was put back in wrong. Guess we were supposed to come back and spend that money anyway. Makes me mad and distrustful of Halterman's now. The dirty car was the icing on the cake for us that day. Won't be going back. More

Great Customer Service, Honest Salesmen All the past and present information of the vehicles was shared to us with honesty. If there was a problem with a car, they would not hide it. We were looking for cars under $5,000. Some of these were cheap because of possible problems that could arise later down the road. They were honest with the risks we might have buying certain vehicles. We found one that fit within our budget and had an engine that could last the distance. We value the way they do business. We recommend Halterman's to everyone. If you need a car, ask for Larry Moucha! He is a tremendous man with integrity and compassion. Denny Castellaneta, as manager, runs an honest department. Love my Rav4 Hybrd Viewed the specs online... I was called the next day to set up an appointment ....met the next day with Jahnell...she showed the vehicle and I fell in Viewed the specs online...
