long story short...i had purchased a new vehicle from a local dealership that i have frequented for over 20 years. I was unfortunately bound by a service agreement for the vehicle, when explaining my circumstance with a friend, he referred me to Halterman's Toyota. He suggested that i meet with Eric Goodwine. Gary set up the appointment for me for the next morning and i went in to speak with Eric to see if i had any options. I was greeted with a big smile, hearty welcome and "i was expecting you." I was asked if i would like some coffee while we talked. I explained my situation and was quickly offered a solution. Halterman's offered to purchase my vehicle back from me and put me into a beautiful new camry. My payments stayed the same and was not asked for additional cash. I know the dealership took a loss on my particular sale. I asked "why would you do this for me when you don't even know me?" The response was amazingly "we want to make our family of customers happy, always!" I was officially welcomed into the Halterman family at that moment. I was truly impressed at the friendliness of all the staff. Eric and Mark made the deal happen and offered a great service package for me. I met with Albert to go over all the financial information and was given a better rate than the previous dealership. Allbert explained everything to me. If it were not for the fact that Eric and Mark were so accommodating to me, i would still be left with a car i was unhappy with as well as knowing i had to bring my vehicle into a dealership in which i was no longer comfortable. I left the dealership a short time later in my new camry and i love it! The car is classy and comfortable as well as the ride smooth and great gas mileage. This is my second time visiting this dealership. I have received nothing less than excellent service both times. The employees are very friendly and extremely helpful. During this particular visit, I was having battery trouble. I called the dealership and explained my problem and without hesitation, I was told to visit the Express Lube department. Traditionally, I am used to being told to make an appointment or that no-one can look at my car right away (absolutely no sense of urgency). At Halterman's, you are treated like a VIP even if you did not purchase your car there (I wish I did now). Justin was the person who helped me during the initial call and throughout the service visit. He took the extra time to provide me intermittent updates while I waited. The service department took the extra step to investigate my charging system and why it may be affecting my battery usage. Although the immediate remedy was a battery, service kept my car on a busy Saturday to look more into the problem. Although I was not in the market to purchase a vehicle, I received a lot of good information regarding leasing/trade-in options from Rodney Wilson while I waited for my car to be serviced. Though I ended up leaving the dealership due to preplanned obligations, Justin wanted to follow up and make sure that I would not have to visit for the same problem again and wanted me to make an appointment so that they would have more time to troubleshoot the problem. My battery was covered under warranty and the work done was at no cost to me, which was a great relief. I recommend this dealership because they are honest and caring. Should I decide to purchase another Toyota, I will definitely come to Halterman's. Their service is second-to-none! More

Halterman Toyota generally has one to two FJ Cruisers always on the lot. I've kept my eyes open each time I drive by. There was a green one with all the options I was looking for. Tony Williams was the salesperson and was very attentive as we compared the two models youi had available. During the test drive, Tony was able to answer most questions. Once we returned to the showroom, the sales managers introduced themselves and at that point I asked if the Truecar price I received off the internet would be honored. In the end, Tony made sure I received the car I wanted with the few additional features that I requested.
