Because we didn't have a lot of time the day we bought the car, we asked to take delivery of the car two days later in order to shorten the amount of time we were at the dealership, due to other pressing issues we needed to attend to that day. When we came back to pick up the car, two days later, we were disappointed that the insurance papers and registration papers had not been completed by the sales manager who did all the final paper work. We had given him all the necessary contact information for our insurance agent and a copy of our registration two days before. Consequently we ended up having to provide the same info a second time and then wait for about an hour for these items to be completed before we could drive off with our new car. More

Hi my name is Rich and last week while browsing auto trader i found my dream truck which was being sold by Halterman's for $31,500 it is a 2007 chevy silverado 2500HD duramax diesel z71. i am about 2 ho trader i found my dream truck which was being sold by Halterman's for $31,500 it is a 2007 chevy silverado 2500HD duramax diesel z71. i am about 2 hours from the location with no traffic. So i made a trip to the bank and withdrawed 31,000 to make a deal and drive home my new truck. I called before i left to assure they still had it and to ask a few questions about the vehicle. Everything checked out and they said they would get it ready for me. As i arrive i see it hooked up to a 24+ foot 5th wheel travel trailer and the salesman says they will not seperate the truck and trailer and it has a price tag for the combo of 50,000.At no point on the ad did it say anything about the camper. So i go inside talk to manager and tell him i have cash in hand ready to purchuse the truck, he said their is nothing he can do. So i left not a happy customer. 3 days later a lady calls and says "Rich i have great news we will sell the truck seperate now!,the new price is 36,500" i dont see how they can just change their prices around and try and fool people. something should be done about this,tottaly poor business thanks Rich More

We decided to visit Halterman's because we knew the family from school. So, we consulted the website for the Toyota Corolla. We also consulted other Toyota dealers in the area, but Halterman's websi family from school. So, we consulted the website for the Toyota Corolla. We also consulted other Toyota dealers in the area, but Halterman's website included actual models in stock, pricing details, as well as information on financing incentives. So we showed up with the whole family in tow approximately only an hour prior to closing. In that hour, we were able to select the actual vehicle, test drive it without being rushed, come inside and negotiate the deal, as well as work out the financing details. Of course, this took past closing time, but no one made us feel rushed in any way. In fact, they bent over backwards to enable us to take the vehicle home that very night and bring it back the next day for the final detailing. We have never bought a new car before and were frankly dreading the experience. It turned out to be anything but miserable and we are now proud Halterman's customers. More
