Displeased with the lack of directness I visited to check on A/C issues. I was pretty clear that I intended to use a warranty policy to help pay for the problem. When the customer service I visited to check on A/C issues. I was pretty clear that I intended to use a warranty policy to help pay for the problem. When the customer service rep came to tell me about the costs, he never mentioned they looked like they were caused by a collision, even while a I told him I would call my warranty company to see about payment assistance. I waited on hold and in conversation for a couple of hours, and only when I came back to the dealership so the warranty claim office could talk to them to understand the nature of the issue, did it come out that they believed the problem was caused by collision. (I’m also suspicious because the guy went to the back office on my cell phone to have the conversation and had the warranty officer explain after their conversation was over.) If it we’re communicated from the beginning that the damage looks like it was caused by collision, I never would have involved my warranty company, but would have gone directly to my insurance company, saving me a few hour’s time. This incident, combined with a previous incident has me doubting I will ever buy a car or get my car serviced from Vaden again. More
