Recently my 2010 Jeep Liberty started to present some electrical problems such as windshield wipers going off, instrument panel lighting up, radio tur Recently my 2010 Jeep Liberty started to present some electrical problems such as windshield wipers going off, instrument panel lighting up, radio turning on and off randomly, and other problems of the same nature. Due to the fact that I had purchased the vehicle at Transitowne Williamsville, I decided to have it serviced there. When I was first contacted by the representative at the service department after dropping the vehicle off, I was informed that the problem was the Instrument Cluster, and the total cost would be $800.00, which included labor and part. The representative asked me if I wanted to have the service done which I agreed to. The second time I was contacted by the service department, it was to inform me that the problem was not the Instrument Cluster, but it was instead the Tippen. I was informed that the technician had already changed the Instrument Cluster, and since it didn’t fix the problem, they decided that the Tippen was the cause of the problem. I questioned if I was still going to be charged for the new Instrument Cluster and he said that I had agreed to purchase the part and would, therefore, be charged for it. The representative over the phone informed me the Tippen would add an additional $700.00 to my bill. The only reason I agreed in originally ordering the part was because the Transitowne’s Service Department reported that it was necessary to fix my vehicle’s malfunction. Due to the incapability of the service team to correctly diagnose my vehicle and then changing me for an expensive part that was unnecessary, I didn’t have any certainty that reliable and honest service was being performed. I told your servicing member that the cost of maintenance was getting out of hand. Instead of having me speak with someone more knowledgeable about Jeep servicing, they sent me to the sales department for “help.” The person I spoke with tried adamantly to convince me to trade my broken Jeep in to buy or lease a new vehicle. Even after explaining that I do not currently have, nor do I want in my future, a car payment, she kept persisting. Their form of “helping” me with my broken vehicle was to burden me with expensive car payments for years ahead. I couldn’t stand to work with a company providing such unreliable and distasteful service, so I decided to take my vehicle to an alternate dealership to get looked at. When I retrieved my Jeep from Transitowne Williamsville, I was charged for the part but not for labor. This may have been a nice gesture from the representative in a different scenario, but it doesn’t erase the fact that I was still paying for a part that was unnecessarily ordered for my vehicle. I decide to take my vehicle to Northtown Jeep to have it serviced there. After just a few hours I was contacted by their service department stating the problem with my Jeep was a broken wire which would cost $3.00 in parts. They completed the service and completely fixed my vehicle in a few short hours. After all that, I sent an e-mail to Transitowne's General Manager Joe Chambers informing him of everything that led to my dissatisfaction with his service department. I was completely ignored! Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle to Northtown Jeep. More

Awful Service, Terrible Dealership I signed a deal to Lease a Jeep yesterday with one of their salesmen, Nicholas McDonagh. I got the price I was looking for along with them paying off the lien on my trade in. I asked several times to make sure that the deal included my current vehicle being paid off in full, which he insisted that it would be. I signed all my papers and put my deposit down on the car. I reached out to him earlier this morning to come pick up my car, and he said it would be ready around 4 o'clock. About an hour later i received a call from him telling me that there was a problem on his end and they would no longer pay off my car or lease me the jeep after we had already made the deal. I went in to the dealership and they basically refused to show me any of the paper work that I had signed, which I should have received a copy of in the first place. This place is nothing but a bunch of liars and crooks. The finance guy who helped get me the deal would not even look at me. I should have known what I was getting into while I was there the first day and my Salesman (Nicholas McDonagh) decided to tell me about all the mistakes hes made with his customers since hes been working for the company, which should have been my first red flag. This salesman (Again, Nicholas McDonagh) is a liar and a joke to do business with, with absolutely no knowledge what so ever pertaining to his job, and frankly should not be employed by you. And I'd like to say it was just him but this deal passed through many hands before I received a call almost 32 hours later when i was supposed to come pick up the car that they were going to no longer honor the deal. Everyone in that building should be ashamed not only in the way they handled my business, but also with the utter disrespect I was shown when I simply asked for a copy of the papers that had my signature on them, in which they refused. More

You are only dollar signs to this bunch of conmen, not customers. They will screw you hard any chance they get. Dont know how they can sleep at night knowing that they screw as many people as they do. Also stay away from Ron Hess, sales manager he is unpleasant and very nasty if he doesnt get his way. More

My useless salesman promised to have their shop fix a thumping noise before I picked it up and he didn't. I went back twice for 2 hours and then 4 hours and they still can't find the problem. The idiot general manager then told me that they can't find a problem and its not that bad so just dive it and maybe it will go away. This is on a certified vehicle with less than 50000 miles. So now I have a car that has something wrong with it and the dealer won't stand behind it. Do yourself a favor and go to a different dealer. More

Promised option not included Bad Transitowne Dodge Jeep Experience As you may know, i just purchased a new Jeep Wrangler. I selected to purchase a Jeep Wrangler from Transitowne Jeep on Transit, one that the new Sales rep said the radio had Bluetooth phone connectivity. This option was critical to my purchase decision. We agreed on a price and went through the paperwork and finance and I purchased the vehicle. After the purchase, I went to my new Wrangler and started it up. I asked how to pair the Bluetooth and the Sr. Sales rep, his 'mentor', said "Oh, this doesn't have Bluetooth, but it can be installed". It was almost 8pm and I had been there since ~3p so I was eager to get home and left. The next day the sales rep called and said that they could install the Bluetooth, and they'd pay half, the total being around $600. I told him that the best I could do was my half being $200. The rep called me back and said it was doable, that the parts were ~$400 and they'd take care of the labor/install/ We made an appointment to get it installed. I write this review now in the service area during my appointment after being told that after talking to his manager they can't do that, and we'll have to split the total cost, no labor being included, with a total of about $750. I'll now have to pay ~$375. I realize that I'm technically getting a "deal" (if you'd call it that) because normally the price would have been more to purchase the vehicle. I feel as if this otherwise great purchase has been tarnished. I need the option for my job, being on the road for work and needing to take calls hands-free. I'm not happy with this experience, and being out extra money, and this review is my recourse. More
