First salesman was extremely knowledgeable and helpful but insisted he would not discuss price or money. Sales manager, Jake Rapp, was completely the opposite. Although I had a loan pre-arranged and balked at a credit check, he asked if he could get some information to determine if he could get a better interest rate that would justify a credit check. As I received notification on my phone of that check, which I had never approved, he returned with an offer $3,000 above what I, my wife, and my daughter had understood as the price of the vehicle when we left on Saturday. At this point I left with the intention of never returning.
I thought that I would give the dealership a chance to deal with the situation for the next guy and emailed the GM, Rob Studebaker, details of what had happened. I was hopeful about his reply (that is unacceptable, I will be speaking with Mr. Rapp, here is my cell phone if you wish to discuss this further) until I saw different variations on pretty much every one star rating. Then I received the bonus prize of an additional hard check of my credit rating two days after my visit. Have purchased several vehicles in my 52 years but have NEVER had an experience like this. I will not be returning to this establishment!
