Our Dealership participates in the DealerRater.com Certified Dealer Program. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater.com review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at our dealership. After you chose to purcase the mentioned warranty and had remorse for what ever reason our GM sat with you to offer a solution. His discount was offered as a true example of customer service.After chatting with you again at length he offered a second discount.Since neither effort was amenable to you he glady started the cancelation process. We did our best to explain that the process took 4 to 8 weeks and since the entire amount of the warranty was built into your finance deal there is no refund to you.The finance company will adjust your loan amount and the refund will reflect on the principal of your loan. The General Manager did his very best to explain these items and to help you.Since discounting the waranty product you chose to purchase was not accepatble he cancelled the policy. This is the definition of customer service. We ALL feel that most other dealerships would have simply supplied you with a customer service number and simply left the leg-work to cancel upon you. We really do try to take the time to sit with our clients and do our very best to help. Our goal from our Porters to our General Manager is to take the time with every customer and do our very best to help in any way that we can. This is a case where we feel that is exactly what took place.

Yes it's true that you sat with me and offered my a second discount after a week a haggling. I walked into 2 other VW dealerships and they offered me the exact same warranty for the same price you finally did but without a week's worth of haggling. Customers just want to be treated fairly. That is the definition of customer service. The Cancellation Form I signed indicates to allow 3 to 4 weeks for processing, not 4 to 8. It has now been 6 weeks. In addition, you sent me a customer satisfaction survey, which I answered with several negative responses. I then received an automatic email asking if the person who contacted me about the negative comments on the survey resolved the issues. No one ever called or even tried to contact me, including you Al, even after I sent an email to you advising you that no one had contacted me. That, along with all the games played with the warranty is the reason I gave Trend a 1 for customer service.
