Avoid at all cost. Let me tell you a little story about how a dealership can literally steal thousands of dollars from you. Purchased a 2018 Ford Edge from this dealer Let me tell you a little story about how a dealership can literally steal thousands of dollars from you. Purchased a 2018 Ford Edge from this dealership. Things were fine for two days. On day three, check engine light comes on. Take car to dealership and have light read. Comes back misfire in cylinder 4. The engine was dumping coolant into the cylinder meaning the head gasket was blown. Way to pawn that problem off on someone else and their hard earned money. Here’s where it gets interesting. The sale manager tells us to keep the car for now and drive as needed. They were actively looking for a replacement. “To make it right”. Well after about two weeks they located a 2017 Ford Edge to which they said “this was the one”. We do a swap for the vehicles. Now our 17 year old is driving the 20-7. After a couple days, the air conditioner goes out. Car is taken to dealership and AC recharged. All was fine for a few days. Bam, AC quits working again. And now at the same time, the transmission starts slipping to the point the vehicle won’t move on the roadway at times. Back to the dealership we go. Mechanic looks over the car and says the car is going to either need the transmission rebuilt or replaced. Not one, but two junk vehicles provided to us within a four week period. Not a bad adventure for $11,000. So, sales manager made aware and used car salesman. We’ve been told various things. “They are seeing if we can fix the transmission at their cost”. They are working on it from the back end and up in the front office. This car is a paper weight at this point. Talk about shady business practice. Do yourself a favor and go buy a vehicle elsewhere. Where else can you literally “steal” $11000 from hard working people. They don’t care and I’m fairly certain they were aware they were selling us vehicles with issues. Funny how no check engine lights on the day we picked the first car up, but two days later it’s on. Was this done in bad faith? Did they think we’d just become another paycheck in their scheme. Stay away!!!! More
